Do You Remember Me
By: Ivory D. Jackson
Do you remember me?
Do you remember my smile
Do you remember my laugh
Do you remember my style?
Do you remember my kind heart?
Do you remember my passion
Do you remember my courage
Do you remember that I was smart?
Do you remember my eyes
Do you remember my mouth?
Do you remember how the day went
When it all went South?
Of course you don't
For you see
You didn't know what made me tick
You didn't even know me!
Yet here we are
In a dark alley way
Blood dripping from my mouth
Nothing more to say.
So I hope you're happy.
Doing what murderers do
You may not remember me
But I will forever remember you!

Really now? I suppose that could be interpreted in that sense.

Nah! It's cool and no. I don't think your "weird".

No, what I meant was you're not "weird" as in that word doesn't describe you (in retrospect, I probably should've made that clearer). In fact, I don't think that word rightly describes anyone! No, what you are is genuine. Purely genuine.

Hun, I been there. From 2nd grade through my Senior year of High School.
