I am a Canadian and so we Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in October.
Today for my Thanksgiving me, my brother, my Dad, my Mom, and my Cousin, all went to my Nona's house for lunch (though with her, it felt like dinner), my Zia even showed up. Lunch was delicious. We had my Nona's homemade pasta first with some cheese on top(my Mom didn't eat that though because she's a vegan). Then we had other stuff. I had some creamy mashed potatoes that my mom made(mm...so good!), Swiss Chard, beans, some meat, peppers that were made from my Nona's garden. Then, me, my brother, and cousin played around for a bit, before eating dessert. For dessert I ate a sugar cookie(baked by my Nona), a piece of walnut-chocolate chip banana bread(which was made by my Nona), 2 pieces of a raspberry-coconut macaron bar, and a square with strawberry/raspberry jam(which was also made by my Nona). Then later we all left and went to 401 games. We bought a Harry Potter deck building game, a game called Panetone, a game called 5 minute dungeon, and a tie fighter for my cousin. Then we went back home and played two games together but sadly, my cousin had to leave after the last game. But, it was awesome!
I am glad to be a Canadian,,,and half Italian!
