Almost 4 years since I first published my first Fallout: Equestria fic in late December 2014, huh? Well, I have bad news those who are still anticipating this. It's been deleted. At least for now because some, otherwise most, of the chapters I've worked... wasn't what I had hoped for. If any, they felt pretty rushed and the quality seemed too sub-par at best too. And as a result, my progress had been at a total snail's pace from last year's disaster and my current progress had still been painfully slow. Overall, I wasn't able to finish what I started so pretty much, my process has done very little to continue on, especially with too many things in mind as well. In other words, I'm just not satisfied with my own work and it's current state too, hence why it's been canceled, removed if you will. For now, at least.

So what went wrong, you might ask? Well for starters, my fic never had a picture to begin with, though most importantly, most of the chapters written felt pretty rushed; if any, it's basically a "read one paragraph and just turn away" type of scenario. I'd do the work myself regarding art, but from last year, my tablet pen was lost and was never found ever since so I wound up with a new tablet instead. Moreover, I hadn't been feeling inspired to writing stuff, much less drawing stuff as well. I had a lot of things in mind and it was a long, slow-going process in hopes that I'd find a bit of spark in me, which died out before it was ignited. And for my fic, it's basically just sitting there empty, like a high-rise tower supposed to be completed but had never met its deadline.

I felt appreciated from the original concept given by others, but as progress goes on, I inadvertently pressured myself into trying to finish one chapter after the next, just to try and appeal the readers which of course, was pretty short-lived in my eyes. I wound up struggling myself to continue on, but it seems I always run into one writers' block after the next. Go figure, heh.

I know most people don't pay much attention to my blog, hence why I removed the old ones in order to try and make room for new and better ones to see if they still show passion for my efforts, even though things didn't went well, real life-wise. But, enough about my personal struggles; what Silence needs is an extensive rework, mainly for the past chapters. That includes the settings, characters and events that require more in-depth plot and storyline, all of which lacked and rushed altogether.

The following changes are:

Past chapters will be reworked and extended.

Initially, they looked rather good at first glance, but the more I looked at them, the more I hated them. I realized that minor characters that played absolutely no role only brought down the overall quality of the fic. Additionally, Zero's friends Solar Eclipse and Carbon Monoxide were interesting but lacked actual character developments in how they met with the lead protagonist. That's where the Prologue will be merged with Who is Zero in order to make the prologue a lot more sense. In my saying, it's still set three years after the events of the main canon, but still non-canon in its own right (unless stated otherwise, of course) a la Fallout: New Vegas, which also took place after the events of Fallout 3 and is not considered a direct sequel.

The first and second chapters will not include minor characters that do not play much role (Bleak Venom and his lackeys will be entirely removed for valid reasons), especially if they're considered one-shots with no significant role to the plot. If any, they only cause a burden, which I unintentionally did and am looking to correct those mistakes.

Additionally, some of the hostile creatures, such as the "Ponelurks" will be renamed as Mirelurks instead. To be honest... Ponelurks made no sense to me after deep thinking. Really, it just doesn't. Cazadores, however, will stay true, especially given their deadly nature, especially in dangerously large numbers. Even Deathclaws are of no match for them.

And as for locations, they will also be reworked. For example, the Whoover Dam will instead be under control of a hostile faction, albeit in smaller pockets, rather than "Ponelurks" (god, do I hate that name).

Speaking of factions, the Powder Gangers will remain as neutral factions but will still provide a small amount of aid from time to time, though sparsely at best. Raiders will also be hostile by default, though not all of them. An interesting twist will be one such Raider faction in need of assistance from the Wastelands' worst enemy: Gunners. I won't delve into too much detail, but it's there for a reason, just wanted to give an idea.

Future chapters will go on as planned, the main plot is completely unchanged.

Yes, future chapters will go on, and main plot will not change. However, I will still do rework on the previous chapters from time to time, to make sure they'd fit right in.

Otherwise, the forthcoming chapters will not be affected.

Never release chapters too soon or too early. At all.

More of a personal thing, I learned the hard way when it comes to releasing chapters right off the bat, when it looks good at first, but it soon begins to diminish as a result of rushed releases, quality-wise. Now, I can only release those chapters when they're done. I can't make any promises without regretting about it later. If any, once all of the chapters are finished (no matter how long they'll take), I'll release them, one by one.

That's about it.

Really, that's just about it regarding my plans.

I do, however, have a Fallout: Equestria prequel in mind, which takes place before the main canon. But, I won't delve any further and let you guys handle everything. That's about it for now. What my future holds only I will find out.

Stay safe, everyone. /)
