The term daemon speak of a non corporal entity tied to an element or concept. Those include:
-Discord who in a stroke of genius tied himself to Chaos.
-The timberwolves who tied themselves to dead wood and are driven mad by the rotting of their chosen flesh.
-Djinn who entered vessel in the possession of someone and are therefore bound to grant wishes to the possessor until the vessel is destroyed.
-Homonculus who are summoned for a long period so are given material to craft a body.
-Golem who are given a body crafted by their summoner.
-Familiar who share lifeforce with their summoner. The summoner get a longer lifespan in exchange of a voice in their head and the summoned get to have a physical form made of blood (skin dust, hair, sweat, ect) and magic in exchange of a limited mobility to the vacinity of the summoner.
-Eidolon who are called for a short while in a body of magic to do one specific task.
They come from a pocket dimension attached to the MLP world.
There could be requirement, dates or location for how, when and where they, who and what, are invoked.
Exemple: the ritual for a familiar could need you to not bathe for a season then use a strait edge razor to scrape your dead skin, shave all your hair and shed blood in a bath of mineral oil, boil it down to a tar like subtance then call the daemon to inhabit it while dancing on one leg in the middle of seven figurine wrapped in ham slice under a full moon.
