Hearth's Warming Tidbits 3.5: Dol A-Steach / Some Bad News Update Under The Tidbit · 6:35pm Sep 19th, 2018
Hello everypony, for the ones that don't know these tidbits are extra bits of information that I couldn't reveal right away about certain places, characters, ideals, or groups in my story, Journey To Hearth's Warming. This one of those things. This tidbit is about the Dol A-Steach, the most impregnable prisons outside of Tartarus...

Dol A-Steach is the name given to five prisons spread across the land beyond the Celestial Sea. This land is watched over by the griffins and the sirens. Though the griffin kingdom is beyond it's former self with the disappearance of it's greedy king, it still holds control of two prisons. The other three are under the control of the sirens.
Though the builders are unknown, these five prisons are specially designed to be complete impregnable. With massive invisible magic walls all around the prisons that only allow the light of heaven to pass through. The only way the walls go down is if they are shut down from the inside. Guards themselves even have to wear special clothing and gloves before they can even consider leaving. Even then, guards usually spend several years on duty.
Design with such fortitude these prisons hold the most feared creatures in the lands. Such creatures that have to be kept far from peering eyes, not just because they are feared, but also of how dangerous they can be when around others. Each prison holds a five-mile-deep basement. These basements are to hold one prisoner for each prison. The extra precaution is because most often the basement is used for that special kind of prison that should never be near anything at all. Five miles down not even the strong magical blast can reach it. The only way in is through an elevator that only gets turned once a month and is only ever used for an extreme emergency.

I'm sorry this came out a little late. Things have bee rather hard and painful. In particular, right now I'm suffering from a major ear infection that is filling my head with so much pain that I haven't been able to focus properly for three days straight. Really the only reason you all got this tidbit was that I had this finished before being attack by this incredible pain. And due to this incredible pain, I am considering putting a very short hiatus on Journey To Hearth's Warming. Now calm down this isn't permanent, I need October to myself until I'm sure this pain is gone. The Contests are still going and will keep going uninterrupted.
As for everything else like the two one shots I've been planning, those still need proofreaders so even if I didn't have all this pain they would still be on standby. Hopefully, I can get them done, but I'm not completely sure yet. As for Journey To Hearth's Warming, the next chapter will be coming out in November. Despite this I might be able to do some tidbits during October, but no guarantees. Look out for the October Schedule to learn more.
