…..So an MLP villain FINALLY gets punished for their actions? No bullshit sob story? Their actions actually have consequences?

Holy crap, either the MLP staff have finally gotten around to reading everyone's hate mail, or I'm in the Twilight Zone.

….Still, it kinda sends a mixed message, doncha think? "It's only ok to punish someone for acts of treason if they don't immediately apologize for what they did?"

I'm also annoyed that they went the Disney twist villain route. Even if no one had read the synopsis ahead of time, it was pretty fucking obvious that Cozy Glow was a bad guy. That cutesy attitude of hers just screamed "fake". All anyone had to do was look at her goddamn cutie mark,

I didn't think cozy glow was any other cutesy than the other filly characters

Plus I actually like the twist villain concept but I agree, Disney overuses its concept. I think it worked in moana, frozen, wreck it Ralph and coco but it does get repetitive

I don't think it's the build up that makes her a great villain. I just like her relatively cliche, fun, smart personality. It's surprisingly refreshing. Kinda like Tirek, which is ironic considering he's in the finale.

I found Cozy to be a fun idea, but it represents an abrupt about-turn for the tone of the show. I bet Cozy will have big things to do next season. Maybe all the old villains will come back and cause chaos?
