me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Never Forget. · 3:31pm Sep 11th, 2018

I'll be up front with you, I was unsure of doing this considering it's now been seventeen years since this happened but we cannot forget the past, we can never forget it. Honestly, if any memories I've had of 9/11 are there, they're incredibly vague. I mean, I was only 3 at most when this happened, so I couldn't possibly have understood what happened. All I knew for years was my parents called this the bad day, but I shall never forget. Visited the crash site of the plane that was aimed at the Pentagon a few years ago, very sobering experience.

Never forget, never forget.

Never have, never will.

May all of those who lost their lives in the tragic event be in a better place. Amen. :ajsleepy:

I was also quite young when it happened, so for me, the phrase "never forget" seems irrelevant when there's nothing for me to personally remember in the first place. I didn't even know anything had happened that day until I was 7 and saw September 11th marked as a holiday on our classroom calendar; upon returning home, I proceeded to question my parents about it.
Nevertheless, my condolences go out to everybody who, in any way, was affected by this tragedy 17 years ago.

I was just a pup, but I distinctly remember it. It was horrifying.

I was in the fourth grade. My teacher, a usually chipper person, was solemn, explaining the grim details to young kids. A very dark time.

You are absolutely right. We must never forget the tragedy, but instead learn from it, grow from it. And most of all, do everything in our meager power to keep similar events from happening again.

I'm glad that among many people today, not just Americans, but people in general you care to still remember what happened on that day. Some go by as though its just another day of the week, but many like us know and will never forgot. May God rest their souls.

This is the part where I embarrassingly admit that until I saw Google this morning, I'd actually forgotten the date. To be honest, something that happened seventeen years ago, if not a very horrifying something, when I was just 3 or 4 (An age at which I could have no real understanding of what the Hell happened that day till years later) really isn't at the top of my mind more often than not. If it happened one year ago, I might be more inclined to remember, but something that happened seventeen years ago? (Almost a lifetime for me) Probably not going to remember it at the top of my head.

True, but all I meant is people who know what happen and honestly just don't care or don't want to know, but we all have our lives and i can't say everyone has good lives. Who knows, maybe they're hirting because they lost someone, but in the end, 9/11 was a tragedy that should have never happen.

I was 10 years old

Never forget. I was only in elementary school when it happened

I was 3 when the planes hit both the Twin towers and the Pentagon. I nearly lost my grandfather on my dad's side of the family, he was actually in another part of the Pentagon when it was hit.

I honestly thank my lucky stars that he had survived, as we had lost his wife, my grandma in a car accident 2 years earlier.

If he had been in his office and the plane had crashed a few inches further...
Let's just say I don't want to think about the consequences...
