On the Finale and a frank discussion about Cozy Glow · 3:00pm Sep 10th, 2018
You know, given that spoilers are in order for those of you who haven't seen the finale. I really shouldn't have to be outright obvious and say spoilers are in order, but given Princess Platinum Blonde elected to call me out for this when I dropped the bomb of Lightning Dust (Screw you Lightning-Bitch!) returning I figure I should probably forewarn y'all. if you don' want to read about spoilers which are probably all over the internet by now anyways... The door's that way.
Okay, good. So, see you're all brave enough to venture into spoilerland. Now Cozy Glow, lot of talk on the episode discussion forums for School Raze (Quite a few of it consisting of bitching between LS, Zimmerwald and Alpha-what's his face whom I can never care to remember) about crap that's not really related to the episode by this point. Seriously y'all, just ignore the trolls and stop feeding them eh? Real turn off for the rest of us eh.
...Now, where was I? Oh, right... Cozy Glow. Sweet looking little filly, and that's the root of the problem right here, people taking issues that a filly (Yeah, I was surprised too. Have we gone dark enough to finally introduce Grogar?) was sent to Tartarus. I admit, at first I thought Cozy was Queen Chrysalis in disguise after revenge against Starlight, but after seeing the Mean Six and seeing Chrysalis can't hold her composure around Starlight for even a few seconds, unlike Cozy that theory was soundly tossed. Now, I suspect if it was a full-grown pony nobody would be so up in arms, but let's count up Cozy's crimes shall we?
First and foremost, stealing all the magic in Equestria including that of the Princesses. Yeah.
Secondly, she showed no remorse about any of this.
Thirdly, she wanted to be sent to Tartarus as part of her master plan.
Can we go back to the first crime? Yes, stealing magic from the Princesses like the Storm King and Tirek did. Hell, Cozy actually seemed to be conspiring with Tirek. That alone would be cause for concern. I'm still agape on how people think she can be redeemed by this point. I mean, committing what's basically treason and enjoying it, and wanting to be sent to the pony underworld of sorts should alone speak volumes about her sanity.
(Yes, I've finally gotten annoyed enough to use this image.)
She is obviously several eggs short of an omelette. Personally she would make an awesome villain if put in the right hands and not as a kids show villain. I would love to see how you would handle her as a villain in your Wild Access universe or To The Stars. Especially in To The Stars as what happened to Tartarus in that universe.

Clearly, considering and I cannot stress this enough she willingly aided a known terrorist in Tirek and was willing to steal of Equestria's magic and rule over it as a tyrant. I never thought I'd say it, but you go Neighsay, his actions in the finale definitely are starting to make me reconsider what happens to him in Wild Access. On that, and To The Stars, I never have really considered on what to do with Cozy Glow for either story, as I did mention for a while I was banking on her being Chrysalis in disguise.
Having a filly as a villain was just dumb. Remember Tirek? Remember when Starlight wrecked Twilight? I mean...STARLIGHT was a better villain. Starlight was a GREAT villain. I miss when MLP wasn't afraid to do epic things with epic characters. I miss the days of Crystal Empire and Twilight's Kingdom when the writers took this show seriously and we got a sense of tension, of heart pounding danger. The Season 7 finale was incredible. Maybe they should have ended the show right then and there.
I'm...I'm just really disappointed.

Here's the door, don't let it hit you on the way out Quibble Pants. Actually, lemme quote Carapace on this matter and who you're acting like.
