    Announcement

Early this month, they announced that the background departments where I worked were to be outsourced. They said that they couldn't provide for us anymore. We all know what this is. They just want to save money.

    Life Updates

Well, my wife and I celebrated our six year anniversary on Wednesday. Got her a Papa Johns pizza, Oreo bites, flowers, and Root Beer. She started to feel guilty cause she wasn't able to get something for me, but I think she was just happy to have something. She did remember our first anniversary where I got reservations to a local restaurant and had some of her stuff hidden there. I was friends

    Update on life and stories

I've started to dip into the Pokémon fandom with some oneshot ideas. Currently getting back into my fanfictions again, but it will take time to get them up and running more due to work Monday-Friday.

I'm trying to make Crimson left of a jerk to Twilight, but at the same time, having a no nonsense attitude due to him wanting to get the engine moving asap.

What if all this were to do with an argument between intellect and experience? Knowing Twilight, she'd probably have read up on the mechanics of locomotives long before this, and it could lead to a few differences between her and Crimson regarding repairs to the valve gear, how best to fire the engine, or something along those lines.

maybe. Most of Twilight's books would be of more modern engines while Crimson knows his engine like the back of his hoof.

That'd make sense, considering that older engines tend to have smaller fireboxes and boilers and less accessible motion than more modern ones - not to mention a lack of superheating and, in some really ancient types, only a crosshead water pump rather than steam-powered injectors.
