Hey, I'm back guys. Sorry it has taken me so long to post any blogs. A few things have been keeping me busy. No, my house didn't burn down. 
I finished college and I aced both of my classes, and takes to a petition I should also be getting my high school diploma (something that supposedly I wouldn't need for work, but in actuality I do). Also I will be working at the Interstate Fair this year for the 4-H barn (which of course they had to move this year to stress us out) so feel free to come by and say hello if you are in the area. Just don't be surprised if I give you a confused/paranoid look.
Admittedly, I just haven't been feeling the drive to do any readings as of late. While it is encouraging to see TheDizzyDan getting some attention on Equestria Daily (Yeah! You go bro! 
) I just don't see my channel being popular enough or my butcherings of the Mane 6's voices being worthy of such praise.
One thing I have seen recently that I thought I might try (and might make a separate channel for) is doing some youtube audio... roleplaying? I'm not sure if that is the right wording. First off let me say it is nothing erotic. Now that that is out of the way, please allow me to explain.
Recently I came across these audio videos on youtube called ASMR. Can't say I would be making anything like that, considering that despite all my efforts to figure out what ASMR means/entails I have merely found myself going down a hallway of confusion and befuddlement. From what I've seen/heard most of them just seem to be "roleplay" sessions where the "reader" is talking to the "listener" and portraying a story using audio.
Of course if you have any information to share that is easy to understand on ASMR, I would be curious to hear from you.
My thoughts is that by doing this I could perhaps expand the awareness of my vocal talent (what little there is) by doing voices for characters that I enjoy who also so happen to share my gender... I'm a man.
I was thinking of maybe doing one with Sombra as well as a few other characters. I am also thinking of maybe doing it on a different channel as my current channel is a combination of well... a lot of things.
Don't worry, I will continue to post any videos I release here (when I remember to do so) so that you may enjoy them if you choose. If you have any feedback please feel free to give it. I always enjoy hearing from my friends.

cdn-img.fimfiction.net/user/06s8-1431818651-2335-64 told me about this and suggested it to me. It deals with the Auto Somatic Meridian Response, which is a tingle that you get down your spine apparently from hearing certain sounds, sometimes pleasant ones, sometimes unpleasant.
My uncle Steve does stuff like that at the bequest of his fans. They both said I might be a good candidate for that, too, but I see it's kind of already taken off as a big fad, with so many people doing it that I just can't bring myself to put the time to inform myself. I felt that if I was such a great candidate for that, maybe more than two people would have brought it to my attention by now.
That being said, I wouldn't discourage you from trying because I like listening to you and would hate for you to cease doing something vocal. In addition, you're definitely somebody with more creative energy than I have. You're likier to come up with something, even a script, that is more original than anything I'd devise on my most "inspired" days.
That's so true. I don't even want to know the number of stories I've picked up and put back down because I thought "Nah, I'm not the right voice talent for that." Bad enough that I hate my voice for being undesirable in the singing field (what people generally want is someone who can sing with power higher and lower than I can go).

Keep in mind, though, Robipony, that every single story reading I've done that has been featured on EQD was submitted by me. The first step for consideration is the fact of having your content being submitted for consideration. Sometimes, you really need to be your own greatest fan. I'll stop submitting readings for their consideration when I stop making relevant videos or if I somehow garner the support of somebody who will do them for me.

4928305 I censored the word because you never know what can get you in trouble these days. Mostly because it's a title and the fact that I censored it, would probably grab someone's attention.
4928028 I do have some clever ideas for some audio with King Sombra, but I'm not sure if it would qualify as ASMR. Admittedly, the first one does start with Sombra being rather annoyed with the listener (what do you expect when he hasn't had his coffee), so maybe it is more of a Audio Roleplay.
I should also try to get my hands on a Pop Filter, or at least try to make one.
I'm also considering giving Patreon subs (or whatever they're bloody called) early access to the content before posting it on youtube (since youtube doesn't pay me nothing). Not sure how I'll do that, but I'm sure I can figure it out.

Sounds like something Bronies might watch. I did my reading of Host kind of with a similar intention, but definitely not written by me.
They are fairly cheap. I would recommend one. I actually attach mine to a homemade mike stand.
Could work by uploading your videos but not letting them go public for a week. Google Drive links might also work, but, as with any early access, this opens the opportunity for people to steal content and upload it before it becomes public.
