So with a grand total of 177 votes, I officially close the straw poll I created when I wrote the first chapter of those two stories. Thank you all for voting and thank you all for your opinions and comments, they have been a great boon and were quite fun to read through. To anyone who voted, the result is obvious, but it was actually close for a few days there and it looked like destiny might have won out. Alas, there can only be one victor and that victor is....
The Infestation of Equiss Prime!
So what does that mean for the story? Well, that means that it will be joining the monthly update schedule along with First Law and Born in Light. So, those three stories will be getting monthly updates as usual with the occasional double update when I feel inspired.
Just fyi but this story is going to start slow, like most of mine do, and the monthly update size is going to be relatively small. I hope to actually update 2-3 times a month with smaller, more bite sized stories about our favorite infested unicorn.
None of this would even be possible without the generous support of my patrons though so if you want to join the early release club and see updates before anyone else then head on over there and drop a paltry three dollaros.
Regarding my favourites' updates, there was a time when I had, average, 1 update every 2 days. A lot of authors posted several chapters per month. Now, even if I only have a few unfinished favourites left in my folders, aside from a few regular updates, many more haven't been touched for more than a year...
But I know RL comes first. Take your time.
