My apologies for the prolonged radio silence coming from this account. It's been a rough past couple of months.
Fuck cancer so hard.
The long and the short of it is that my previous cancer treatment regimen has stopped working and we have moved do a different kind of chemotherapy, while also keeping our eyes open for possible clinical trials. I went for a few months there where I was having some intense pain in my right hand side thanks to a tumor growing on the outside of my liver that was pressed right up against the inside of my body. So, when I took a deep breath....PAIN!
That's gone thanks to the new stuff (for now at least), but dealing with all of this crap has been attacking my drive to write something fierce. I'm still picking at the next Skitchverse and the next Rainsverse fics. It's just slow going.
So, as I'm sure everyone has been able to guess from the glacial pace of updates, story uploads are going to kind of become a "When I can." proposition for now. I'll try to keep you all better updated on how my treatments are going too.

I think the fact that my liver isn't actually the main tumor site is why that path hasn't been taken. It started behind my esophagus and then spread *to* the liver via the lymph nodes.
So as long as the main tumor mass exists in the throat, there'd be a chance for it to spread right back to any replacement liver or regrown liver tissue they did.
