Christopher Robin · 11:27pm Aug 3rd, 2018

As a kid, I didn't have much memories with Winnie the Pooh as a whole. I've watched some of the episodes of The New Adventures here and there, some of the trailers of the movies, but really didn't get into the spirit of it. That is, until I found out that Peter Cullen voiced Eeyore for a long while, then it started to grow until finally I could easily sing the theme song, Tigger's Song, and the Heffalumps and Woozles song. Clearly one of Disney's best adaptations. So what do I think of this? A movie that takes the approach of those such as "Hook." Though for this case, many of the films leave this on a cliffhanger and keep us guessing.

And now it's come... And it doesn't disappoint me one bit. Even Brad Garrett as Eeyore was a lot funnier than I originally hoped (he doesn't beat Cullen as my favorite, but he's close). Much of the music incorporates the Pooh theme, and Tigger does sing his song in front of Madelyn. And to be frank, I got a bit of the feels as well. My school environment forcing me to believe work makes me happy when really there's more to it than work. It just takes the little things to get you back to your childhood.

I did hope for something of a "Batman Beyond" esque ending, with Madelyn taking over for the young Christopher. But it's all so charming on its own that I'd let it pass.

So remember, doing nothing brings the best of something.

The sheer coincidence that you wrote a "review" on the movie Christopher Robin and the fact that an advert for movie tickets for that very movie showed up with this blog! :rainbowlaugh:

I see that you’re discovering or re-discovering some love for Disney within you.

Am I correct?
