A note about 'An Heir to Legends' · 7:21pm Aug 2nd, 2018
So I've been thinking of doing a complete rework of 'An Heir to Legends' because going back and re-reading it I noticed a LOT of small things that bug me. A few being making Thrin to powerful to quickly, how Shopkeep's accepted stars as payment and Shopkeep's name, combining Dragon's Quest 8, Dragon's Crown AND League of Legends *because seriously. With how powerful many of the Champions are they would steamroll just about everything from DQ8 and Dragon's Crown if things go down the path I've been thinking of going*. I haven't fully made a decision yet but if I do this rework then here's a few things that'll most likely change.
- Thrin will have less Champions to pick from at the beginning
- Thrin won't be meeting any other versions of him in the main story and that will be restricted to side stories
- I will keep the Final Fantasy classes out of the story and work within what Equestria and the League give me, if I decide to keep him a League of Legends Displaced
- It will be very unlikely that I'll turn anyone from Feral ponies to Anthro ponies
- Thrin might not be a Half-Elf
- Thrin will still be a League of Legends Displaced however I'll change his power set a little
- Thrin might not be a magic user *or at least to the same extent*
Apart from that I will say that Thrin will be keeping the wolf staff Orgran made because I freaking love that thing. Please let me know what you think about this potential rework
Current idea's for the reboot if I change his power set:
- A Power Ranger Super Megaforce/Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger
- Kamen Rider Diend
On another note I figured out a better name for my character Shopkeep, so there's that.
I would like that two
