First post in 2024 -- Technical Difficulties

Hey, guys! I know its been a while since I made a blogpost, but I've been preoccupied with writing out commissions to keep up with bills. I also recently moved to a new place (dont worry, this one was planned better than the cross-country move back in 2022), and I've been settling nicely. I've been fortunate enough to work on a new series of my own accord titled 'To Nerd A Bird,' but at the

It's my Birthday! (Also, Patreon Updates)

Hey, y'all! As of today, I'm now a whopping thirty-three years old! I know that isn't really a big deal, but it's a good enough excuse to swing by here and explain where I've been.

    Commissions Still Open

Heya guys! I finally finished a good amount of my backlog, so I'm open for commissions at the moment. My rates will be around $20 per thousand words, although it may vary depending on content or number of characters involved. I don't know how many projects I'll be open to accept, but I'll likely delete this blogpost when I have enough to handle. Until then, please feel free to contact me though

Well, umm... · 4:06am Jul 28th, 2018

I guess I found the one F/F Incest pairing that isn't immediately adored by this perverted website, huh? :P

Honestly though, I can't say I'm too surprised by the massive onslaught of downvotes Munching A Ripe Apple received since this morning. I knew it was a controversial idea, and it's not the first time I wrote a story of that kind of theme (see Vintage Debauchery for further proof). I guess at the end of the day, all I can do is reference the Dead Dove scene from Arrested Development to everyone questioning its existance.

Honestly, though? I can't say I have any regrets writing the story. It was made for a friend of mine who contributes to my Patreon, and who I've written multiple commissions for over the past several months. Not only is he a really kind and caring person overall, but he also helped me understand how important commissions can be to some to people. In fact, he was the big reason I made this blogpost last year about why kink-shaming sucks.

When it comes to writing or reading stories meant for certain people, it can be absurdly easy to judge them if it involves a theme or fetish you don't understand; or more specifically, something you're not comfortable wanting to understand. Heck, I can remember when I first joined this site, and refused to write clop as a whole (boy, have my stances changed in that regard :P). And even when I first started taking the chance to write out mature themes and accept story commissions, I was still rather iffy on a lot of kinks that used to be on my Hard-No list. But now if you check out my Commission requirements, there are several kinks I can now say I'm comfortable with writing.

If I were to be completely honest, I think the biggest reason for my own apprehensions were due to the fear of judgement. I used to be worried about being judged for writing porn in this fandom. Then I used to be worried about being known for writing specific kinks that are considered too taboo. And even nowadays, I sometimes worry about posting specific content on this website, mostly due to knowing they would likely be downvoted to oblivion; honestly, I wasn't a hundred percent sure if Munching A Ripe Apple would be hated or not, mostly since F/F incest is popular, AND Vintage Debauchery wasn't treated so poorly.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that fear of judgement is a really hard thing to overcome. And for many people who I've written stories for, a large majority have faced judgement from others due to enjoying something most people wouldn't approve of. Whether it's attraction to older woman, seeking pleasure from insect stings, or making a specific character super fat by feeding them a ton of food, the people who enjoy niche kinks like those usually have two commin traits I've noticed:
1.) They tend to be some of the nicest people I've conversed with, despite being so nervous due to previous mockery from others.
2.) They become the most grateful and generous friends afterward when I write something that really scratches that itch they had for so long.

And in the end, isn't that what we ALL want? We all have weird interests and kinks. Hell, most of us venture to a My Little Pony fanfiction site for porn, which most normies would instantly chastize us for without a second thought. And if a large majority of us are comfortable with admitting to one another that we enjoy clop, then who are we to judge when certain people like more unique variations of clop? A large majority of us might not find old ladies hot (I certainly don't), but what makes whose who do any weirder than us, when we ourselves are willing to see Fluttershy or Big Macintosh getting railed without a second thought?

Hell, I'll freely admit that I have some raunchy interests myself (both in what I publish AND with what I'm willing to do in RP sessions with friends), but I still have moments of judgement on others from time to time. But the important thing to keep in mind is that it's way more benefitial to listen and try to understand, than it is to stay within a little bubble and refuse to learn anything new. If I never attempted to learn about new kinks or fetishes, I likely would've never made some of the friends I do now. I likely wouldn't have as much experience with writing new ideas under pressure, or improvising with unique concept on the fly to better my Patreon quota. And overall, I wouldn't realize just how significant a simple story can mean to someone who really needed it; not just to get themselves off to something they legitimately enjoy, but to also feel normal about it.

So yeah, I just wanted to say that I don't regret writing that Granny Smith fic. It got quite a few upvotes, which I always appreciate seeing. And hopefully, people can see what I've done and think, "You know what? If he's willing to write that, than surely he can write out my weird kink if I contact him about it."

If anyone is curious, you can check out what else I've written out for friends on my Patreon page, particularly from my Patron-funded series The Many Short Stories of Equestria. Anyone who contributes $10 or higher can submit a chapter prompt for that series, which I'm willing to write as long as there's some discussion over PMs or Discord. Just note that I DO have limits that I'm not flexible on, such as keeping consent an utmost necessity.

You can also comment to this blog, or PM me if there are any questions you'd want me to answer. Given what I've written so far, I think it's pretty clear I'll answer as honestly as I can. :P

Welp, welcome to the trial by fire. I've been in this position so many times, so I completely understand the frustration over it. It's kinda strange how some fetishes are held in much higher regard, include the more stranger ones.

Either way, I'm sorry that people are being like that to you and your friend.

This is just me spitballing, but I have wondered whether some fetishes have relatively more cultural acceptance for simply looking 'cooler' than others - at least on the surface. People seem to take something like handcuffs or leather harnesses in stride, and you're more likely to hear someone with vanilla interests say they're okay with BDSM, because they think they know what that is and what they've seen is superficially 'cool' (Of course, if you tried to talk to them about pup play or electric stimulation, they'd probably call you crazy all over again and not realize that you haven't really jumped subcultures at all).

Other fetishes don't have that aesthetic appeal, so there's no movie the normies have seen that make it look kind of edgy or rebellious. I don't know how much, but I get the impression from some comments that it isn't even about not getting what could be hot about something or forming some half-baked theory that someone must have some kind of mental illness in order to enjoy that ... it's just that it looks gross or silly to them. There's a snarky little kid in every person's mind, pointing and laughing at everyone around them, and some people listen to that playground bully voice and try to justify it, pretending to have a good reason to pick on a random stranger for being uncool.

I really enjoyed your comment and it was well thought out. But, there have been times where commentators did suggest that I might've had a mental illness. I've actually considered that a possibility for a while.

I don't believe is because of that, but of the kinks minority. Meaning that there are probably not many fans with the whole F/F (Gilf/Young Mare) thing as much as the M/F(Gilf/Young Stallion) paring.

Oh, I'm familiar. One of many petty justifications for mocking something different; I've had it thrown my way, too. And I certainly didn't mean there aren't people who think that. What I meant was, there's a deeper level where it's only an excuse to listen to that immature bully voice. It feels good to make fun of someone, and it feels even better to tell yourself it's only out of 'concern' and you're really just being a good, reasonable person.

Its not my cup of tea, but I did not downvote it. I would love to read it but not into granny smith myself. But im sure that its still nice since so far I enjoyed everything you wrote so far! But yeah not my cup of tea, still continue to write whatever you want!

I liked it.

I mean ain't no porn with granny smith getting massive up votes man.

Downvoting just because it's a subject or fetish you don't like seems pretty immature if you ask me. I certainly am not interested in this story, but I'm not going to downvote it. I'm just not going to read it.
