Humidifier Celebration · 11:04pm Jul 25th, 2018

I wouldn't exactly call Baltimore a furnace; tomorrow's high will just be in the high eighties. In any case, this is a more detailed pre-Bronycon blog, complete with FoME panel times! And a small plea for help.

See, I mentioned tomorrow because that's when I'm heading in, and I love to know if anyone else as well. I felt like I missed out on a whole day of fun last year, but I'm... not exactly sure what I'll be doing after I check in at my hotel. :twilightsheepish: So, yeah, little help? It'd be kind of sad if I just ended up browsing Fimfiction all day once I was there.

On a more positive note, my panel schedule!

And That's how Equestria was Made!, an improv sketch where you get to be a member of the Mane Six desperately trying to keep Celestia from justifiably banishing you then throwing you into a prison in the place where she banished you, will be taking place at 5 PM on Friday, at Stabletop Games. Right in the middle of Hooves Line is it Anyway? in the Mane Events hall. :ajbemused: Judging by my experiences last year, we're going to be funnier.

Words on an Extreme Budget: Writing Flash Fiction, a panel on how to fit a story in minimal real estate led by Pascoite, featuring bookplayer, and also involving me, will be taking place at 9:30 PM on Friday, in the Hall of the Stars. That also has a flagrant scheduling conflict, given the adult humor panel going on concurrently.

I think the lesson to take from this is that I am a living wrench in the works of convention panel schedules.

Ah well. Looking forward to seeing everyone who'll be there! Odds are I'll be in Quills & Sofas on a frequent basis.

I'll trade you weather. It's going to be 106 degrees tomorrow.

Last year we pirated the BarTrot by pre-emptively hanging out at the DogWatch Tavern in Fell's Point. I don't know if they heading that way this time or not. Not sure if they're going to the DogWatch this time or not.

You sheltered motherfu-

Erm, I mean, I'll probably be in town sometimes tomorrow.

If my train ever moves.

I've gotten dinner in less time than we've been stuck waiting for the track to clear.

But anyway, when I get in town I'll probably go get my badge and try and organize some kind of hangout with as many peeps as possible, and you are welcome to join.

I brought the sliver deck~

I'll be in Baltimore reasonably early tomorrow. Likely before noon.

Possibly even late tonight.

Don't drown on the road, Admiral. Annoyingly heavy rain all this week, supposed to finally peter out around midnight in Baltimore. I've been told to *not* take my usual Rt 15 shortcut around Harrisburg tomorrow - there's a good chance that parts of that road will be under flood waters.

I have since altered the comment about the temperature to better reflect its status relative to summer highs rather than the year-round range. My apologies for any offense caused by the unintended implications.

Ohh hellz yeah, I gotta catch a recording of your panel with Pascoite. I hope it goes great, and I’m desperately envious of all in attendance!

Say hello to Baron Engel and Robert Morris (Clear Skies) at the Roan booth. Alas, I will not be there. Maybe next year . . . :fluttercry:

I should be in an settled by around 4:30-5:00 PM Thursday. I hope. I've never used Air B&B or not had a car while out of town, so I'm playing a lot by ear.

7AM Friday I'll be on a plane in KCI with the wife, wondering where our luggage is going. God and Mother Nature willing, we'll be there a little after noon.

I should be heading into Washington, D.C. on Thursday evening, and making it there on Friday by train. I’m looking forward to meeting you in person.

I'm genuinely sorry I'll miss your panel on Friday, since mine's happening at the exact same time.

I'm also sorry I'll have to tell people to come to ours instead of yours since it'll be way cooler and funnier, but not as much.

I would have enjoyed high 80s it was 115 today in phoenix. I almost wanted to bring a small frying pan to work to see if i could fry my own eggs for lunch out side.

I timed it just right to trail the storm. From mid PA onward, everything was wet, but it didn't rain on me at all.
