Hi there! It’s been a hot sec! I’m pretty thoroughly no longer into pony, but I thought it would be fun to poke my head in and see if people are still reading my old story. You are! Warms the cockles on my heart, thank you so much for all the kind messages and comments, even if it did take me about 4 years to actually go read them.
Also, like, sorry for starting another story and then never finishing it. It’s never going to get finished still, but uh, sorry about that anyway!
Don't suppose you might be able to share your planned outline for it? Have to admit to lingering curiousity. :)

Huh the rollercoaster ride of emotions when reminded of a great story you enjoyed, and the sadness when it's because it's over... Thanks for the fun times though and good to hear you are doing well ! hope you keep writing even if it's not pony, because it was fun to read!

Iirc the plot idea was the main character, whose name I don’t even remember, would go around to resting places of the mane 6, get some sort of power from each one via the lodestone, and at the end reforge the elements of harmony becoming the new element of magic himself. Also, the lodestone was an extra dimensional shard that was sucking magic out of its surroundings to allow terrible creatures from outside reality to invade- the climax was going to be banishing it with all the elements of harmony combined, providing the final step in putting the world back on track.
And we are still waiting for updates :D
Wow, almost 5 years did you start that sequel, and this is the first I am hearing about it. Goes to show how amazing your first story was. Personally I don’t think a sequel would have been nessisary, but it would have been welcomed. If it warms your heart, Anitpodes was the first story for me to favorite while on my time on fimfiction. You are the OG in my eyes. I am glad even if it was for a moment that a writer, no author, put aside a bit of his time to look back on where he was. Thanks for the update, stay frosty.
