Ok, this one was tough.
One of the problems was that, like everything in this story, I instantly knew Twilight's background. And I tried to write every single idea I had for it. And rereading it, this chapter felt more of an excuse to make drama and the readers feel sorry for her than what I actually intended: a sincere conversation between this two girls who are very similar but very different at the same time.
And that's the story of how I ended up rewriting 95% of the paragraphs and the word count went down by around 1400 words. 1400! 
Hope this version is much better. I think it is, at least 
But maybe you came here to find why Twilight's background is like that when we already suffer from Sparkle's (?).
My answer is simple: I write reality. And reality sometimes is pure, fucking shit. And the ones society tells you are supposed to take care of you and help you, sometimes are the ones who are not worth it at all.
Family is complicated. Sometimes is more than complicated and the best thing to do is get away from it. 
Anyway, the next chapter is mentioned in this extra is not gonna be nice. I'm writing it again cuz it was too OOC for almost everyone involved, I don't know if I'll ever finish it.
Probably will do SunLight stuff first, and write the next chapter of When The Sun Met The Moon And The Stars Collided (I need an acronym gosh 
)
I've never seen what you have written, though I would love to see what you have for the next chapter no matter if you finish it or not. Either way, I think you do really good with this story and it's subject matter and showing just how it would likely go in real life. Unlike what some may believe, things like this leaves scars that just don't heal in days. They can take years to heal, if at all, and you are doing a great job of expressing that.

The chapter that (supposedly) follows is the one where Sparkle talks to her parents that she mentioned in this extra. Let me tell you, Twilight's reaction was not wrong at all.
I'm glad you think I'm managing this in an accurate way, it's a really sensitive topic and to hear that I'm doing things right helps a lot. I find it horrible when authors add topics like this for the sake of drama and everyone addresses everything so casually. It's just wrong and disrespectful.
4903562 I really hope to see it sometime, I love your writing and truly do believe you handle the subject matter on a mature and realistic level. I do find it annoying when it is treated as you said with people thinking it is a quick fix. And it really pisses me off when I do see it handled realistically only to have some assholes come and try and tear it apart claiming they are taking too long getting over it showing that they have no idea how the real world works. Hopefully you don't get any assholes like that, and if you do I hope you ignore them.

So far in this type of stories (the ones that treat the topic seriously) I haven't seen people like you describe. Luckily. In mine I've had people being rude and telling me this was too long and blah blah blah
4903855 I personally don't think it is too long, I love it. Of course if some does think it is too long, could always point out that it especially fits Twilight because she would pretty much be like this and make things longer. To me though, I just think it's a good story and the longness of it only makes it better. It seems more like an adult type book than the young adult level that I think many people tend to read, myself included. I love young adult novels, but yeah I love adult ones too (not the 'adult' adult type) and to me yours just seems more on the adult level of a good book. And I really think your stories actually do sound professionally written.

Now that you mention it, I image canon Twilight to be the type of writer that uses lots of technical words and purple prose? Hahaha.
I actually analyzed if it would do any good to split it into chapters, but turns out it wouldn't work out. It has a length and its gonna stay that way.
