Alright, been working on things and decided to take a different approach than originally planned as I have written things down. I have decided to go with a multiple perspective story featuring several different parents (or guardians at the very least). Story timeline picks up on the same day that chapter 70 of Pandemic: What You are Meant to Be ended on. Cast of characters with perspectives that I am planning on using are Devon Middleton (human woman with a night pony and earth pony foal), Amanda (earth pony mare with pegasus foal), Tom Gilmore (unicorn stallion with grown night pony daughter), Roger Martinez (human man with grown pony daughters and two younger human sons), and Tattered Wing (night pony mare in guardianship of a younger unicorn colt brother). Story will have two main parts, first part will begin right away on the first day of Riverview being a pony town, and the second part will pick up 5 years later. Story will weave between their experiences and how they adjust to their different parenting situations. Not sure on timetable of release yet, I'm taking things pretty easy right now, but have about 10,000 words written down so far.
