    Bucket List Results

Remember the spring break bucket list I posted about a month ago? Well, it's time to look at the results. And I'd say I did quite well. Especially if you consider how much I added since the initial post. Who knows, I might be able to cross off a few more the next couple days, as my initial plan to be already playing Persona 5 Royal at this point took quite a hit.

    Goddammit Nintendo

Just casually releasing a new Direct.
And only half-revealing the next Smash fighter. Though I'm glad for the franchise.

Marwile watches SAO Part 16: "When both your crushes are on your brother" · 9:53pm Jul 6th, 2018

Let's keep it short, because I was sick this week and still a bit recovering. The episode makes it easy.

But before I wanna mention that I found out that the second season of SAO has been already dubbed in german (I'm watching the TV broadcast, as you know), so there's a chance these blogs might continue even past these last four episodes. Also, if you remember, I mentioned that Suguha has the german VA of Twilight, and it looks like she isn't the only pony. But I have to hear it for myself first.

Anyways, Kirito reaches the tree, and Yui tries to contact Asuna. She hears it and just throws down the keycard, which of course conveniently floats into Kirito's hands. He leaves Leafa to try to climb the tree alone.

There's a pointless bit where Yui tells Kirito he won't be able to break the impassable gate to the tree and he assures her he'll find a way, and once he's at the gate the keeper just asks if he wants to enter, Kirito says "Yes" and the gate opens.

Kirito tries to fly up the tree while he fights off guardians and we see Asuna flashbacks. Soon it's too many they start to beat him up by impaling him with several big swords. Fighting a thousand enemies in a video is too much (unless you're like me and just beat the Battle of 1000 Heartless in Kingdom Hearts II today). Again I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it.

While he's floating there as a "soul" waiting to respawn, Kirito becomes introspective and we get Kirito flashbacks. Then Leafa flies in, grabs his soul and escapes.

She revives him, but Kirito immediately wants to try again to fly up and save Asuna. And apparently this is the first time Kirito mentioned it to Leafa, as upon hearing it she realizes Kirito is her brother. When Kirito sees her suddenly shocked face he also realizes the obvious.

They log out and Kirito tries to comfort his sister, but she reveals her feelings for both Kazuto and Kirito and that she's known for two years they're only cousins. Somehow I doubt she only fell for him after that. And then the episode ends with her closing the door on him.

My advice for the day:
When someone looks like your brother, sounds like your brother, acts like your brother and you never saw him and your brother at the same time, he might actually be your brother.
