I mean it is about The Hitchhiker's Guide, Fallout and Ponies, how could I resist I ask you?
"The wasteland got it's start when Fluttershy decided to trust ponykind's mortal enemies with weapons of mass destruction.
This made a lot of ponies angry and is generally considered a bad mood." Or something like that, I had ideas at least.
I decided to write the story in the theme I'm most familiar with, as a comedy and homage to the original. Don't worry, since it's fallout there's going to be plenty of violence and tragedy to satisfy your darker urges. My one regret is that I can't make it a musical, ah well, I can write some songs on the side, but I can't really include them in a story.
The fact that I have not written a novel type story in ca. 10 years and the fact that I have never written anything in English, well that only mean that I have room for improvement. I may have co-authored two musicals which were heavily influenced by The Hitchhiker's guide, but that is a complete coincidence and should not be taken as a reason to expect more quality from me. This is my first foray into the world of fanfiction after all.
One requirement for joining the challenge was to blog about it. Honestly I don't see the point, I can't say I expect much response from my followers. FYI, I don't have any followers, and that's hardly surprising since I haven't published any stories.
I decided to write the story in third person, a format I'm not particularly fond of, and more stupidly, have never written in before, but I guess there has to be a first time for everything. So wish me Luck, I'm going to need it.
Whelp good luck with writing that insanity. If you just want to read...I have enough for literally MONTHS in my Favorite List. If not YEARS. Not sure which stories you'll find fun or not, but enjoy! <3
Thanks, it's going ok. I keep rewriting and getting stuck. It's so much more fum to write with your friends than alone. But it is something fun to do at the bus at least.
Thanks,I'm moving down your list, but I expect it to take ages. Though that's a good thing. I plan on living at least 70 more years so it's good to know there will still be good stories left when I get older.
