Okay, positive news all around for the most part. I'm set to take a test in two weeks that if passed will get me into a class given by the local tech school, and paid for by my company, that once completed will count as one year manufacturing experience. That should help out greatly with the job search so I have something ready to go by the time my company lays us all off.
Also, just because I can't stand not writing at all I am working on a one-shot one chapter short story that will tie in with Pandemic: What you are Meant to Be. Going to be taking my time at it though and doing some peer review and probably multiple reworking before it is released.
So be on the lookout for Pandemic: The Pony in the Mirror featuring Sunset Blessing. Which will be likely fairly strange and leaving you scratching your heads about "what was the point?" of the whole short story, though you are free to attribute any deeper meanings you like; if I like any of them enough I promise to just say "yeah, sure, that's what that was all about."
