Order of the Alicorn Update #3 (the mostly failure edition)

Hello, and welcome again to another update on the Order of the Alicorn rewrite.

This week I have made... barely any progress at all.

Now the one good thing I can say is that unlike in the past, this failure to make progress was not due to me just straight up being lazy and not writing. I have been writing, but I've mainly been rewriting scenes from the last chapter. In particular was one scene which features Twilight's first one-on-one encounter with Asmodeus. I went through like five or six versions of this scene and wasn't happy until I finished the latest one, literally three days ago. Thankfully, I can now say that scene is officially done with and I am actually starting to make progress, though mostly on stuff I had already planned to have finished by now.

For those wondering what it was that was bothering me so much to make me rewrite the scene five or six times, well, lets just say Twilight is going to give Sweetie Belle a run for her money in terms of which character will suffer the most, and there are certain aspects of her misery that require some careful attention to detail on my end.

Concerning the next two weeks, I'm going to redouble my efforts to get this chapter done, and then push myself to see how far I can get in the next one. I'm going to devote a huge chunk of my time over these next two weeks strictly to writing, and I promise that in the next update I'll have something more substantial to report.

I'll see all then on July 14th.
