Testing video recordings and crazy, crazy, Blood Witch Sunny. · 9:00pm Jun 24th, 2018
So in preparation for future game streams, I've been checking out how this damn thing works, and testing my video card's recording capabilities. Needless to say, the first few tries were... not ideal.
Regardless, there came a point where I felt pretty positive the settings were right, so I recorded a mission. And hey, since this all started because of Ranger, I decided to use my current Alpha XCOM2 team. Sunny had just come back from a covert action where she got injured because the commander was stingy and didn't want to waste any Intelligence Points to ensure her safety. I mean, why would she, right? Anyway, Sunny went in injured, but determined to make good on her infamy... and by the gods, she did.
The video below is my latest attempt at recording right now. Probably the last for the day since I need to get to work on the new chapters.

Man, your Sniper is ridiculous. He gets another shot if he kills someone? Crazy. Not to mention Sunset taking down those archons. I really like her voice mod too. Is it lines from the show, or just someone who sounds like her? Hard to tell with the radio filter.
Besides that, footage looks good, no problems here. Do you have a good mic? That's the other thing you'd need to stream.
4889120 I have a Yeti Blue, so hopefully it'll work fine. I was doing bunch of things on the PC so I need to emulate what the actual streaming environment will be to check if I the bandwidth and stuff doesn't mess things up XD
Re: Sniper, that's "Death from Above" the Lt. level skill counterpart to Quick Draw. You can get both in WOTC later on with enough APs
Re: Sunset, it's a fan-voice, not actual Sunny, but it's pretty close! I guess I could always edit the audio out myself and do a mod with EqG samples but... this works fine XD

Also, there's a mod I found that makes turns be on an individual basis, which really opens up combat options, if you want the name of it when I get home. It's pretty cool.
4889325 LW2 doesn't work with WOTC. You can do some of the individual parts of it, but it's not compatible.
