...on which story to rewrite after I finish reworking It's Time To Leave. I had originally thought about redoing Am I Really Their Friend? but upon reading Twilight's Night out of boredom last night, I'm considering redoing my first clop fic. So then I got thinking, 'What about Scars, Sunset's Day, Sunset's Shindig and even Relapse?' There's so much potential in all of them that I never found. My problem is that my ambition is outweighing my time. So... which would y'all like to see rewritten after It's Time To Leave?

Out of all those options, my vote is for the lost child of the SciTwi Shimmer Chronicles series, Relapse.
I don't remember much about it. But I kinda recall similar opinions to Dark Sunset. It had great potential, but it was either moving too fast, moving too slow, or didn't have much focus beyond a certain point; like a story was there, but the point of the story had already come and gone.
If you can figure out where things ground to a halt for you, I think it could make a nice supplement to the main series. An undisclosed point in time or a sometimes repeated occurrence for the couple.
4887738 For some reason I keep coming back to that as a future project. I think my biggest problem was that I had too many POV changes. I was trying to tell the story from three (possibly more) different people from the first-person perspective. It was an experiment that went wrong. Maybe I can sort it out eventually.

How about making three large chapters, showing certain events from a character's perspective and swapping at appropriate times just so we aren't seeing the same story three times, then a final chapter where it shifts to 3rd person and all the characters converge and the story gets wrapped up?
4887804 Interesting idea. Whenever it does get rewritten, I'll probably end up needing a few prereaders for each chapter. But that's a project for later.
