For all maybe three of you who love ponies and Star Wars and read My Little Sith Lord and will also care about this change · 8:46am Jun 14th, 2018
Glimmy's Lightsaber blades are now silver instead of emerald colored. I rarely retcon/Orwellian edit, but I guess this isn't the later since I'm announcing it so publically.
Silver suits her personality much more in the story and Star Wars (Legends) lore, so I changed the initial reference. If anyone catches me leaving them as green or emerald in all of the ONE chapter that has followed, let me know and I'll update.
Huh... I genuinely wasn't expecting you to be this honest about it when we chatted; I fully expected a ninja edit and us quietly never speaking of this again.
I think that officially means you're a better person than I am.
I now owe you two drinks!
...Are either of those actual colors c.c

Emerald is basically just another way of saying "green" here.
Silver would be closest to the Imperial Knights from the EU/Legends Legacy story. The story is full of EU references, but that aside, I figured silver would best the closest to represent Starlight's relationship with the force.

...Okay. c.c
When I think about it, Twi and Glim wouldn’t really every be successful Jedi. Luke himself barely couts with his friends and such, and also being rather a bit hotheaded and in general resembling his father. (Movie 8 messes with that but i digress(and prefer legends)). Twi & Glim would be much better being Grey. Because being essentially monks for a at this time dead religion doesn’t fit their bill per say.

I need to get back to writing it, but ponies, in general, make pretty terrible Jedi emotionally and philosophically speaking on account of how naturally emotional they are. Twilight has a lot of Luke's problems but turned up a notch because she values friendship so much. Starlight in mine has actually detached herself too well to the point where she doesn't even process or really even perceive reality the same way most life forms do. They're both powerful force users, but it's unlikely any prior orders would want to touch that.

Yeah, hence why i was figuring they work better as Grey. You know, mostly not giving a shit, enjoying life and just discovering the force.
Though from Starlight that’s a bit worrying, and explains the casual Force Storming she is doing. Okay VERY worrying.

"True" grey Jedi are hard to swing in both current canon and legends. One of the best comparisons of the dark side I heard was from a very good Star Wars fan who loves the franchise about as well as I do. He compared the dark side to doing heroin as far as how good it feels. I felt that was apt and explains why pretty much all powerful force users fall into either the dark or light side. Either they managed to avoid doing 'drugs' and tend to steer clear of the things that would lead them down that path or they're just taking their hardcore UNLIMITED POWWWWWAAAAAAAAAH drugs by the fistful because it just makes everything awesome.
