Alright, so here's the deal. While writting my tiny Twilight series, to celebrate 1000 likes on my Celestia's Tiny Student story, I wrote a blog called "Ask Twiny Sparkle"
While "Lost Little Raichu" is waaaay less popular, I still would like giving try to something similiar.
Since "Lost Little Raichu" is finished and we're moving to the sequel, I'm sure you all learned quite a lot about Nica, so the purpouse of this blog is small role-play where you can ask Nica a question or a few, and she'll answer them the best she can. (Do you'll simply write questions in points or ask them in a roleplaying fasion is up to you).
I'm not sure if it's going to work, but I want to give it a try, so in other words. Ask awaaaay. I'm sure Nica will be more than happy to answer.
Hey Nica, what's your full list of moves you can use?
Perched on a stack made of three lavender pillows, Nica looked from behind the table, blinking in surprice at AandWguy whose question reached her ears the very moment the door opened.
After patting the translating collar on her neck, she gestured at the chair on the other side of the table. "There's no need to rush with questions. Please, sit down first." She gestured at two scups filled with tea with steam emiting from them, and next at the jar of cookies, all waiting on the table for the visiting quests.
She smiled proudly and said, "As for your question, you're in luck. Since so far in my dreams pokemon kept using four moves at best, I believe I remembered how to use." She tapped her forepaws against each other. "There's 'Thunderbolt,' a typical yet still powerful offensive move. My 'Thunderbolts' aren't exacly strong and long-lasting, but they're quick to pull off. I simply ajust its strength depending on situation to maintain my mobility, often hitting my opponents a few times as I jump and circle between and around their attacks."
Nica paused and tapped her forepaws again. "There's also my 'Volt Tackle'. This move in particular I often use with way more power or combine with 'Iron Tail.'" She puffed her chest. "So far I learned that I'm incredibly durable, so recoil damage don't bother me, and adding 'Iron Tail' protect me from recoil damage alltogether." She rubbed back of her neck, smiling sheepishly. "Though I admit, I don't use my 'Volt Tackle' as often as my other moves, and I try to avoid meeting my opponent's attack head on unless it's a very weak one. Often I simply jump to the side and keep running rather than colide with my opponent's strike, though if I desperatly need to break through, this move is my best bet."
Nica stood on tips of her rear paws as they sank a little deeper into the three pillows. She placed her forepaws on the table for support, turned to the side and displayed her tail. "My favorite move is definitively my 'Iron Tail.' I just love that move. N-not for the raw power ofcourse since it's my weakest move, but it have me sooo much utility and is incredible useful for defense. It can be used to keep my friends safe and shield them from harm." She grabbed black part of her tail and slashed the air as if using a sword. "I also took some inspiration from how Samurais use their katanas in battle, so I adapted a fighting pose based on them."
Nica sat and took a deep calming breath. "As for my last move, it's my trusty 'Light Screen.' This move I use only in specific situation, but it allows me to reduce damage from special attacks, while my 'Iron Tail' prove best in stopping psychical one. Those combined with my agility makes my defenses near inpenetrable. Plus, I can shield others. Replacing my 'Focus Blast' with it suited my new fighting style."
Nica tapped her forepaws again. "I think in the past I used moves like 'Nasty Plot', 'Spark', 'Thundershock', 'Quick Attack', 'Focus Blast', but I replaced them as time went on." She smiled brightly. "I hope it'll satisfy your curiosity. I suppouse I could relearn my old attacks if I needed to, but I'm happy with what I can use so I doubt I'll ever do that." She blushed and rubbed back of her neck. "S-sorry if I talked too much. H-have a nice day."
So Nica if you could have another of your trainers Pokémon with you right now who would you choose and why?
Hmmm...okay. So, what was your favorite treat/food back at your old home?
I have a bit of a more moral question to ask, Nica. While Darkrai's seal on your memories has slowly started to almost become a non-issue, living in Equestria has more-or-less changed your view on some things, but you do still hold to some of your core beliefs. Based on what you've remembered and have now experienced, if you had the chance, no strings attached, tearful goodbyes and all that, would you become Astra's partner once more? Or would you rather stay in Equestria and continue your new role as a protector of sorts?
"Sits with nica drinking tea" So Nica, where do you think Astra is right now and what do you think she's doing now? I'm also curious how a battle between you and another trainer named Ash who has a pikachu would go, since they both are good at thinking on the go. Not to mention how he has also beaten Lt Surges Raichu while preferring to stay as a pikachu and taken on some rather tough foes.

Nica glanced at the jar filled with cookies before tapping her chin thoughtfully. "Well... I always had a taste for anything sweet. Back at the bunker, Astra tried to make cake a few times, but she didn't prove to be the best at cooking."
She looked at AandWguy and licked her lips. She displayed a dreamy smile and held forepaws on her cheeks. "I suppouse my favorite were always chocolade and vanilla ice-cream. I loved them. There were other more tasty sweet snacks sold at diferent towns, but ice-creams were common and made me look forward to them the most." She woke up from her dreamy stance and shook her head. "Though all sweets I was eating thus far don't compare to wonders that Pinkie Pie bring me. Her sweets are sooo good." She patted her belly and added. "Still, considering how hard I trained everyday, I never ran into a risk of getting fat. I burned through my calories like fire through a dry forest." She tapped her forepaws innocently. "N-not that I would want any forest to burn..."

Nica ran from her pillows, grabbing spare chair with her tail before placing it in front of the table, patting at it in invitation. Once Badninja took his seat, she leaped onto her pillow with a soft landing. "Well... let me think." She tapped her forepaws together. "So far I remembered Starmie," tap "Ninetales" tap "Venusaur" tap "Blinssey" tap "Umbreon" tap "Gliscor" tap "Lucario."
She stepped from the pillow, now walking back and forth. "Starmie is a silent type, always following orders and rarely having its own opinions. Ninetales is easy to anger and tent to be quiet sassy, she would most likely offend ponies in one way or another. Blinssey is a sweetheart with great singing voice which put everyone to sleep, which makes her a strong candidate. Umbreon is teritorial and overprotective, I would need to keep an eye on him at all time to make sure he wouldn't bite anypony, and most likely he would stick to me like glue to paper." She sighed and shook her head. "Lucario's way of speach is... interesting, and he's really good at finding potential in others and likes to develop it. As for Gliscor, while I was somewhat afraid of him at first, he grew on me thanks to his charm, loyalthy and discypline, though he still needs to learn how to chill."
Nica stopped her walk and stepped onto the stack of pillows, now facing the present guests. "I suppouse I would need to choice between kind Blinssey who seem similar to Fluttershy in a way. Lucario who remind me of Big Mac, and a loyal gentelmen like Gliscor." She shrugged. "I can't choice between them. Any of those three would make a nice partner whien visiting this new world."

With Armyidiot perched on his seat and Nica perched on three pillow, she listened to his question with full attention.
"Well... this one is complicated." She closed her eyes and rubbed top of her head, thinking deeply. "Well, I'm still missing a big chunk of my memories. On one side, Astra made me who I'm now and she needed me to help her accomplish her goal. If she still needs my help I would return to her and be her partner." She opened her eyes, now looking back with a firm stare. "On the other side, if there's not much I can do to help her anymore, I would stay in Equestira. What I mean is..." Her ears drooped and a sad smile grew on her lips. "I posses great power and skills, which means I'm responsible to use them the best I can to help and protect others. This is something my trainer wants as well. If I can be of greater help in Equestira than I'm at home, I am sure I would make Astra proud and fullfil her ambition better by staying here."
Nica lowered her head and tapped rubbed her arm. "I just... I wish I could stay in touch with Astra: visit her, send her letter, tell her of my accomplishment." She sighed. "But I suppouse it's out of question now. Either I return home and leave Equestira on Darkrai's mercy, or stay here and protect it for as long as I live. There's no in between with it."

Shadowlight96 sits with Nica, drinking tea with her. The pokemon gifted him with a warm smile, patiently awaiting his question.
"I'm not sure. My memories are still missing in this regard." Nica shrugged. "I can only make assumptions base on what Darkrai told me. If I was send here by rulers of time and space, which means that they trusted me or my trainer enough to task me with such important mission. Depending on where those two legendary pokemon reside, Astra is most likely nearby, wondering if I'll accomplish my task or not." She tapped her chin for a moment. "Now that I think about it, either they send me here knowing I'll never return due to importance of my task, or they know how to bring me back. Maybe what Darkrai said is futher from truth than he realize."
"Trainer named Ash... why does that name sounds familiar," Nica said before closing her eyes and massaging her forehead. "Ash... Ash... Ash... this name seems very important for some reason, yet I can't put my mind to it." She opend her eyes and placed forepaws on the table. "Back to your question, Lt. Surges Raichu isn't all that tough. While he know powerful attacks, he lack in speed and skills, his durability is poor, and he has a large issue with stamina. Making him tired by evading his strong attacks is enough to achieve an easy victory." She pointed at herself. "I was still a Pichu when I meet him, and I still greatly surpassed him in terms of combat skills and durability."
Nica paused and started looking at the ceiling. "Though I had more than a year experience when I meet him. I can imagine how pokemon with a few months of experience who are just starting their jorney may struggle a lot against that Raichu. Taking him down as a fresh untrained Pikachu is a large achievement indeed. Lt. Surge keep that Raichu specifically to fight novites and rookies, so without taking advantage of his weaknesses in speed and stamina, the fight becomes harsh and dificult."
Nica stood on her rear paws, streching herself closer to her guest. "As for 'other tough foes,' you must be more specific. There's a massive gap between Lt. Surge Raichu he uses to fight beginers, and pokemon used by experienced trainers at turnaments or powerhouses used by the Elite Four. And also, how long it took this Pikachu to prove worthy of evolution? What sort of challenge he overcome before becoming a Raichu?"

NIca jumped from her pillows, now leaping from one rear paw to another as only one bronze tip of her rear paw touched the floor at best, performing a wild dance. "When I was younger, I got excited fast when hearing energical music, like rock and doll, or something loud and fast-paced." She stopped herself before shifting her dance as if being a balerina, spinning in mir air or walking on tips of her rear paws. "But as I became Raichu and I became obsesed with helping others, my personality shifted a bit, so did my taste in music. I started apreating calm peaceful musics. Classic music and opera became my favorite."
Nica returned onto her pillows and took off her translating collar. She held forepaws together and started singing, "Raichu Rai, Raichu Rai, Rai Rai Rai Rai, Rai Rai, Raichu Rai, Raichu Rai, Rai Rai Rai Rai, Rai Rai." She sighed and put on the collar back on her neck before speaking, "I also started apreating the luluby that mom sang to me." He ears drooped, and she lowered her head. "I was... I was a terrible child, being mean to my brothers and sisters, bullying other pokemon who tried to befriend us, not listening to her... I'm still missing my memories, but I hope I at least appologised for my horrible behaviour." She grabbed her tail and started stroking it. "I... I feel the urge to wrap my mother and father into a warm hug."
Nica kept staring back for several seconds with wide eyes and her mouth agape before smiling sheepisly. "S-sorry... Astra may have taugh me quite a lot, but I'm not that smart." She lowered her head and tapped her forepaws. "N-next question please, and an easier one, pretty please."

Nica stepped from her pillow and aproached the only window present in the room, taking in a quick view of Ponyville. "While staying in Ponyville for more than three weeks, I really started enjoying helping others, so I suppouse it can be considered a hobby. Hours of productive labor at Applejack's farm, assisting Coco, working for Master Gabby, training Twilight in combat and helping her improve."
She walked back to her pillows and continued, "According to my memories, most of my time I spend training or assisting whoever I could. I don't think I ever developed a hobby... well, unless helping others improve can be considered one." She raised forepaw in a lecturing gesture. "I no longer enjoyed fighting, but I often ended up teaching a weaker opponent how to improve his fighting style. This is the only thing that comes to my mind that I can consider as a hobby."

Nica snached the gift and bowed politely before sinking her shining teeth into it. After a moment of cheewing and a quick gulp, she opened her mouth and waved her forepaw, sending bits of wind into her throat. "Spice, but still good. Thank you." She tilted her head to the side. "What? Oh... you wanted me to use it in a battle?" She shrugged and shook her head. "I fear eating a berry won't help much in a battle."
(Game logic berries are useful, but in the anime pokemon don't use items or berries in combat for healing,)
Nica, back at your original home, was there ever a time you thought about looking for love? And if you ever go back, would you try your paw at it?

Nica blushed and bit her bottom lip before covering her face with her forepaws. "L-love... me..." She chuckled nervously before lowering her forepaws and looking back, shade of red still present on her cheeks. "I suppouse I was so focused on adventure and duty that I didn't consider searching for love."
Nica looked at the ceiling, thinking back to her past. "My memories are still recovering, but I suppouse what I like in others the most is kindness and bravery, someone who can be respectful and polite to others and is ready to put himself at risk to keep others safe." She tapped her chin. "As for the pokemon I meet in the past, I think Dewott and Gliscor seems really nice to be around. I overcame my fear of Gliscor's earthquakes some time after I evolved into Raichu, and we made a really good team, not to mention how polite he always was. As for Dewott, I remember meeting him during the turnament and he seems very polite and respectful to others, and he seemed to like me."
She shrugged and shook her head. "To be honest, my memories are still limited. I don't know if anything went between me and Gliscor or between me and Dewott."

While it may be hard to make such a decision, especially if you don't remember everything, would you wish Astra and the rest of the team here in Equestria with you? I of course could be wrong, but surely they would help if they knew Darkrai was acting nefariously. Though, maybe some of the team would enjoy life with ponies, and their better temperament as a whole. What are your thoughts?

Nica glanced at the window. "Astra and all of my friends... living here. I suppouse it would be nice." She looked back at her guest and continued, "Still, what if my trainer and her team are needed back at home. If we could travel between words it wouldn't be a problem, but if they had to choice, it wouldn't be easy." Nica patted her chest. "Still, I believe that together with ponies we'll be able to handle Darkrai. My pony friends may not be experienced for combat, but their magic and potential is strong."
She took teacup between her forepaws, taking a few sips before releasing a plesant sigh. "I think in the end it would be best if Astra and my friends made this decision. Living in Equestria can be nice, but Astra's team is strong, they wouldn't find enough of a challenge in here." Nica took a quick bite of a cookie and wiped her mouth clean with a napkin. "Though, if I can be honest, while Astra is a great trainer and really cares about me and the team in her own way, threating us like family, she's poor at showing it. When it comes to emotions, I could always sense her love, happiness, fear and so much more, but she hid it well behind firm stare, rarely raising her voice and remaining cool. In terms of her duty as a trainer, she performed it splendidly, planning our training with years in advance and letting all members to shine, making us incredibly strong. When it came to petting us, bruising our fur, hugs and belly rubs and playing with us she was a bit lacking."
Nica pointed at herself and added, "As Astra's partner I did my best to play, entertain and care for the team where Astra lacked, but I wish she could simply let all her sense of duty and stress go and act playful more often. The ponies on the other side showing me way more affection than Astra and I loved their hugs, wing hugs and nuzzling. I suppouse it's one reason why I don't miss my home all that much. Equestira and the ponies are way more friendly and open with their emotion than my trainer is." Nica's ears drooped as she rubbed the table nervously. "Not that I can blame them. She lost her parrents and put a lot of responsibility on herself. It's not easy to drop masks and show emotions after that."

"Her cakes obviously, especially when they are extra sweet," Nica said with a cheerful smile while waving her forepaws in excitement. She stepped from her pillows, rounded the table and whispered to her guest. "Don't tell this to Applejack, but her apples don't taste so good to me when I'm not hungry and thirsty. I'm not a fan of sour food, which is why I prefer pears over apples, but I'm afraid of admiting it. I don't want to offend the fruit that's an important aspect of her life."
Nica returned to her pillows and shivered. "Though I think the least favorite would be lemon."

Looks at Nica with an eyebrow raised." Thats the thing, he's more then earned his evolution over the years but does not believe he needs it and actively refuses it. He has stayed a Pikachu throughout ash's journey through the many different regions. As for his feets, he's gone up against various different trainers as well as legendary Pokemon. More then I would even know to list. He may not win against you, but he would definitely give you a worthy challenge.

Nica gasped. "R-refusing to evolve, doesn't need it? But why?" She stood on tips of her rear paws, supporting forepaws against the table. "But being a Raichu is really great. It would make him tougher, stronger and faster," she streched her tail in front of her head. "And it comes with a long multi-tasking loveable tail. Why would he not want that? I mean... staying as Pikachu to face more dificult challenges is good and all, but what's the point if he doesn't capitalize on it by reaching his full potential?"
Nica sat and her ears drooped, her mind a mess.
"Well... I faced Regice, Registeel and Regirock for half a year, rechallenging them once a week as a Pikachu, so I'm used in facing legendry pokemon. As Raichu I'm even stronger, and I managed to surpass my limits with restless dangerous training. Still, facing off aginst legendaries while unevolved is still very impressive." She looked at her own paws and shook her head. "As for giving me a worthy challenge... this won't happen. I wouldn't dare to fight a Pikachu while having such an advntage of being fully evolved Raichu. It's just too unfair. Unless I can even the odds somehow, I refuse."
She sighed and looked at the window, her ears drooped. "I actually feel sorry for him. If he really faced many legendary pokemon and other hardships, he must be worthy of evolution more than other Pikachu who evolved for the sake of power with no skills behind it. He purpously turn down something he deserves, forcing himself to remain in weaker body. That's just... sad."

Looks at nice softly" i believe the reason he refuses to evolve is due to a fear of not being himself anymore. Some pokemon change drastically after evolution, that or as I said before, he just doesn't want to evolve. "Shrugs" none but he can say for certain. But anyways, can I have a hug?

"That's a very tough question," Nica said as she stepped from the pillow, walking back and forth. "I would certainly want to be a pokemon with great helping capability and little destruction power. Blinssey for example can share their life force with others and they can protect allies from special attacks incredibly well. Audine can shield others well while setting up 'Light Screen' and 'Reflect,' and I heard Comfey can be quite helpful at Pokemon Centers while being very cute. I wonder how being a head-decoration of a friend would feel like."
Nica stopped herself and looked at her own rear feet. "On the other side, those pokemon lack in speed and agility. I wouldn't be able to aid others quickly, and sometimes life and death can be decided by seconds." She raised her head and glanced at her guest. "Maybe you know any pokemon that can be helpful, useful and productive outside of a pokemon battles, have ability to protect others and don't lack in speed? Any suggestions?"

Nica tilted her hed to the side in confusion. "Really? But why would he think that?" She looked over herself and next back at her guest. "I saw many pokemon evolve and some did get more agreesive and mature, but evolution into Raichu is on the lighter side." She rubbed top of her head. "When I evolved into Raichu, I did feel stronger and tougher, and having a longer tail took some time getting used to, but in terms of personality I didn't feel that much of a diference."
Nica stood on tips of her rear paws while supporting herself against the table. "While I admit that evolution may affect our personality in some way, I managed to keep myself from becoming more agreesive." She raised one forepaw to her chest. "In fact, I became even more peaceful as a Raichu. If he's so determined not to change his personality, evolution into Raichu won't change him. I'm a proof that willpower is all he needs."

Nica climbed onto the table before her, aproaching with slow steps and a warm smile. With help of her tail, she wrap both of her guests, pulling them towards her. Once close enough, she wrap her forepaws around their necks while nuzzling their cheeks.
Half a minute passed as none informed her how long they expect the hug to last.

Also I think it was Surges Rachui that gave him that fear with how he appeared and how Surge talked about it. But this is all my conjecture, take it with a grain of salt.

"I take it as complement," Nica said before climbing onto the shoulder before pressing her belly against side of her guest's head. "My trainer isn't much of a huggable person, so I started giving hugs and nuzzles to friendly pokemon I meet. It feels really nice."
Nica leaped from her guest's shoulder onto her pillows before looking him in the eyes. "I suppouse Surge's Raichu leave a poor first impression. His job is to show newcommers that patch of a pokemon trainer and their pokemon is filled with struggles and hardship, to show them what they're getting themselves into, while also still having weaknesses his foes can explore to win." Her ears drooped as Nica lowered her head. She rapped her forepaws around his knees and whimpered sadly. "Though he sometimes goes too far, sending pokemon into Pokemon Center with heavy injuries while leaving mental scrars. I can only assume that Surge's Raichu motivated that Pikachu to become way stronger, but at the same time scared him from evolving. I hope his fear of evolution didn't made his jorney too harsh."

Nica waited patiently to be released form the hug. She stood on tips of her rear paws, grabbing her guest's hand with tip of her forepaw before escorting him towards the exit. "If you'll have more questions, feel free to return at any time. I'll be waiting." She bowed politely and then waved a goodbye before closing the door and returning to her pillows, awaiting more guests and questions with a cheerful smile present on her face.
((I decided to wait until there were some chapter before begin to read, I'm going to begin but first I have a couple of questions, not sure if they were answered... If they were answered already, sorry.))
1 - Do you follow the religion of Arceus?
2 - Imagine hypothetically that your life in Equestria was put in one fan-fiction written by someone... What could you say to the one that is writing about you?
3 - Time ago you asked suggestions about what other pokemon you could be... What about Ditto? He have the power to transform in any pokemon, even legendary ones that have the power of time and space at their fingers. And at the same time the base form make it very hard to damage someone.
4 - In theory... Do you think a Pokemon and a pony can get descendants? And if so... Think the descendant will be a pony, a pokemon or a new type of pokemon?
5- How is the interior of a pokeball and what happen inside one? All we know is that pokemon usually are carried inside and those that don't have a trainer are captured by them using those Pokeball.

As the door open, Nica gesture for her guest to take a seat on a chair in front of the table while being perched on three pillows. Her face showing curiosity and enthusiasm, no doubt eager to answer the questions to come.
Nica shrugged. "I think I hear that name many times while we were in Sinnoh, suppously a powerful legendary pokemon responsible for creation. My trainer planned to look deeper into the legendary pokemon and if the local criminal organization is a threat to them after we were done with Elite Four and hopefully the champion. I still lack memories to tell if I'm into any religion yet."
"You mean line someone is... what's the word... documenting my life here? I don't think it can count as fiction if it's based on real events." She rubbed the back of her head. "As for what I would tell them... I suppouse I would say that I'm nothing special. Not worth writting about insignificant little me. The ponies in Manehattan already wrote about my rescue of ponies in bruning building and mine, and how I faced the mod, and I didn't do anything really significant ever since."
Nica shook her head and spoke in haste, "Ditto may be able to tranform into others, but even if they can mimic othes form and moves, they can't mimic skills. It takes a long harsh and diligent traiing to master once's techniques, and as Ditto I would need to start from scrach each time I transform into another pokemon."
Nica blinked for a moment before rubbing her chin. She looked over herself and then answered, "I suppouse ponies and pokemon aren't all that diferent. Though ponies use magic to grow stronger while pokemon have their own power. Even if pokemon and pony may be on similar egg group, I'm not sure if magic and pokemon power would mix enough to allow descendants." She raised her head and continued, "As for how descendant would look like, it depends who's the female. This is how it works in pokemon world. Though even if minor, there would be some infuence from the male. Maybe they would be stronger since they can use both power and magic, or a psychic pokemon with unicorn can have child who can cast spells." She massaged her forehead. "Thinking about it is too much for my head."
"It's... dificult to describe, " Nica said, looking at the ceiling while in search for words. "It's... spacious, yes, definively spacious. I can strech myself with ease or find a good sleeping spot, but those accomodation doesn't allow me any sort of training. Luxury balls are especially soft to nap in. Each movement I made is like sinking my paws into soft fluff." She poked her left ear. "And I can still hear muffed sound comming from the outside. It's not all that clear, but I can overhear convesations, hear noise of battles." She raised her head proudly and added with more confident tone, "Still, I'm Astra's partner, so most of the time I'm out of my pokeball."

3 - We know you can write but... Can you draw? You could show Twilight and the others images of the pokemon you meet and some info about them you remember from your battles. Or maybe make some sculptures like you did for Maud to show them their size compared to yours.

Nica rolled her eyes. "I'm sure we could... if we had one." She pointed at herself. "I may be smarter than most pokemon since my trainer taught me a lot during our jurney, even asking to help her out in terms of improvising, but I have no knowledge that could help Twilight and Starlight make one." She shrugged and shook her head. "Sadly, we'll need to contain him the hard way... or convince him to surrender. Maybe he'll see to reason."
Nica tapped her chin while looking at the ceiling, now deep in thought. "Well... According to stories I heard about him thus far, his magic is chaotic, which makes it dificult to control." She lowered her head and gave her guest an even look. "He may be able to send me home... or literally everywhere else."
She raised her forepaw in a lecturing gesture. "As for fighting Darkrai, I'm not sure. As a pokemon I know that weaknesses and strengths are extremely important in a battle, and Darkrai just like dark magic is extremely dangerous against ponies, especially spellcasting ones like unicorns and alicorns. I'm not sure how well will dark magic and Darkrai's power work against chaotic magic, and how well chaos will work against dark typing."
Nica paused and closed her eyes for a moment before opening them and looking at the window. "Now that I think about it, what if the reason why chaotic magic is so dangerous is due to its typing?" She tapped her forepaws. "What if Discord was so dangerous because his magic was resistant to everything ponies and other creatures could throw at him?" Tap. "What if his chaotic magic was very efficient against everyone?" Tap. "What if the Elements beat him so easily because they were very effective agianst his chaotic magic?" Tap. "Now that I think about stories about Sombra, he was defeated and banished by the princesses with raw power, and I don't think Twilight and her friends beat him with elements. What if users of dark magic are resistant to the Elements of Charmony... what if that Crystal thingy that beat Sombra would be super effective against Darkrai?" She massaged her head. "I... I'm overthinking things."
Nica smiled warmly. "That's actually a really neat idea. I like it." She glanced at her tail, looking insensly at the heart-shaped edge. "Though I doubt my paw-drawing would be all that good. My tail is way more precise, but as a female I don't have a pointy edge. It would be sooo much easier for me to draw if I could sink tip of pointy tail into paint. I suppouse attaching brush or crayon to my tail with help of a adhesive tape will have to do."
I was waiting to see if someone else decided to send a ask but it seems that just like with a Twiny Purple being, no one is sending more, so I send a set of five... I hope it's not a problem

3- Any idea why 'you' had been choosen about Darkrai? I ask because while Darkrai mentioned two legendary pokemon that control time and space, Darkrai is a legendary pokemon that control darkness but there is another pokemon that control light and could be a better choice.
4- From lvl 1 being a Pichu and lvl 100 being the max... What level do you think you are ((Yes, in game theory, what levels could have Nica?)) Unless you think you surpassed the max level by training

"Posion joke?" Nica titled her head to the side and then shook her head. "No, never heard of it. To be honest, the first time I learned that Twilight and her friends are national heroines was from Thorax. I know very little about their smaller adventures."
Nica shrugged. "Beats me. It's first time I heard of that plant. How does it even work?"
Nica rubbed top of her head, thinking deeply. "My memories are still missing in this regard. Is that legendry pokemon controling light a fairy type?"
"Level? What are you talking about?" Nica stood on tips of her rear legs as her bronze tips sank into the pillows. She supported her forepaws against the table and said, "This is not how pokemon training works. Everytime we run or fly or swim... our speed and stamina improves. Everytime we light weights, our strength and stamina improves. Everytime we use psychical attacks, our attack power improves... and we get better at using the attack we use repetively. Evading attacks improves our reflex, while target practice help us with accuracity."
She tapped her own chest and continued. "Whenever we get hurt, our durability and defenses improve. What I try to say is that we improve specific stats that we use. If we tried to describe it by levels, we would have levels for diferent stats." Nica climbed onto the table and started walking back and forth. "Think... think... think... oh right, I remember now." She turned towards her guest and lectured, "My trainer, Astra, had a few talks with one of the professors, not remember which one, about her theory about how pokemon improve. Would you like to hear it out?"
She sat and beamed. "Of course you do. So, according to her theory: pokemon improve their ablities, endurance, skill, power and so on with training and fighting, like I mentioned a moment ago, but as time passes they become weaker. The more experienced and battle-hardened pokemon, the faster he grows weaker. For example, lets say that by getting badly hurt each day my durability increases by 10, my defense by 5 and my special defense by 5, but at the same time I lose the same ammount, it means that I reached my limits. I would need to get hurt even more if I wanted to improve, and if I was getting hurt less, my durability would drop."
Nica took a deep breath and continued, enthusiasm clear in her voice. "But here's where the theory gets interesting. According to my trainer, weak and unevolved pokemon have the greatest adaptation. Which means that they can improve their skills and power very fast, but at the same time they lose their skills and power quickly overtime. What it means is that unevolved and weak pokemon gain experience in battle and training extremely fast, allowing them to compete with way stronger pokemon with enough training, but at the same time they lose experience quickly, so after a short vacation they will lose their power and skills."
She took a quick breath and continued. "More evolved and powerful pokemon are more stabile. They improve slowers, but lose experience slower as well. In other words, it takes evolved pokemon way longer to grow stronger, but at the same time they won't lose their skills and power as quickly if they take a break. Legendary pokemon are the least affected. They gain experience and improve extremely slowly, but they also won't become weak even if they avoid training and battling for years."
Nica pointed at herself and raised her head in pride. "Using myself as an example, when I was a Pichu, I adapted to diferent situations and gained experience extremely quickly. Even with weak and vunerable body, I could reach my limits very quickly. Thanks to this I was already really strong when I evolved into Pikachu. As Pikachu I didn't get as much experience as before, but I had a more durable and stronger body, good enough to let me face legendary pokemon and defeat them after half a year of struggle." She displayed her tail in front of herself. "As a Raichu, I couldn't improve very quickly, but I was already really strong thanks to my hardship." Her ears drooped. "Though... I had dificulty adapting to my longer tail... If I was better at using it in that burning building, maybe I would..." She sighed. "Nevermind..."
After a moment of silence. Nica stepped onto her pillows and continued, "However, while pokemon can become strong really fast with enough trainings, pushing our limits takes years. For example, lets say that I spend a year training my durability, then I would take a vacation. The next year I train my durability again, and I would become tougher than I was last year with the same ammount of training. Our bodies adapt to harship, and if we keep pushing ourselves to our limits, over the years we will surpass them."
Nica raised her forepaw in a lecturing gesture. "My trainer talked with me quite often, sharing her ideas and discoveries. If an unexperienced and poorly trained pokemon evolve quickly for the sake of power, they'll improve very slowly, ending up surpassed by unevolved pokemon who gain experience and adapt way faster. However, if a well trained and experienced pokemon evolve, he'll get a way tougher and more powerful body while still remaining strong and skilled." She smiled and then nuzzled her own tail. "I believe that Astra delayed our evolution for so long is to let us improve really fast. Once we reached our limits, she allowed us to evolve into more powerful and stabile forms. We had to earn our evolution, and it made us both strong and skilled."
Nica tapped her chin and then shook her head. "Not really. Also, I appologise for my extremely long lecture about pokemon training and stuff. I get really carried away with this kind of stuff." She blushed and smiled sheepishly. "Since I became a Raichu, I started liking helping others to improve. Maybe that's why I get so excited about this kind of stuff."
She tapped her forehooves and added, "And to answer your previous question, I started pushing myself so incredibly hard that I surpassed my limits more than any other pokemon would. I'm not super talented or anything, so I fear I can no longer become stronger. Once we deal with Darkrai I'll once again need to start pushing myself to extreme exaustion, or else I'll grow weaker and lose my skills."
Another couple of questions...
Mika, if Pharynx could transform in you, could he transform in Darkrai? We can see that normal magic don't affect him, but that could help in a fight, and if Darkrai can absorb magic from others, maybe Pharynx transformed in Darkrai could absorb the magic that Darkrai absorbed
If transform into Darkrai don't work, maybe there is a way to share your memories of pokemon that are strong against dark-type pokemon and see if changelings can transform.
While Darkrai can absorb magic, think you could do the same and defeat him?
Think there is a way for the ex-dragon lord Torch, the father of Ember to help you? he is as big as the castle in Canterlot, while Dragon type and fire type attacks are not weak or strong against dark type, it could work.
Think there is a way for you to try and use any fight type move? They are strong against Dark type like Darkrai

Nica giggled before shaking her head. "By becoming Darkrai, Thorax would gain his typing and gain ability to use his attacks, but not skills and knowledge. He would need to first watch Darkrai in action in order to copy his moves, and his attacks wouldn't be as efficient." She pointed at her own tail. "I learned the hard way how much time it take to improve the use of my 'Iron Tail,' and Darkrai most likely got used to his moves. Thorax wouldn't be able to use his attacks as effectivly."
Nica rubbed her chin. "I'm not sure, but I think copying Darkrai's spell would be even harder. After all, Darkrai spend a lot of time learning it with Chrysalis tutoring him. It's not something he could learn on a single glance." She shrugged and shook her head. "I doubt it would work. In the end Thorax would become resistant to Darkrai's powers, but so would he resist what Thorax will throw at him. If Thorax could take form of a fairy-type pokemon, than it would be another story."
Nica rubbed top of her head in confusion. "Is this even posible? Can challenging look into my memories? I'm not sure that's something even ponies magic can do. I'm still new to this magic so I would need to ask." She looked at the window for a moment. "Can changeling even transform by looking into memory? I mean, it's one thing seeing pokemon in someone's memories, and another interacting with them directly. What if changeling need to scan another creature before transforming into them. I mean, how else would one be able to copy power and abilities. Pharynx also mentioned that transforming into a Wonderbolt will only let them have flight of a pegasus and their magic, but not skills of an elite flier. It's something they would need to learn themselves."

Nica shook her head. "I fear that while Darkrai seems to be capaible adept in dark magic, I'm more specialized in electriity. I doubt I could absorb magic on my own." She paused as she narrowed her eyes. "But Starlight keeps mentioning about some sort of a trump card. I get the feeling that she may have know how to let me use magic. Just a hunch."
Nica climbed onto the table and stood on tips of har paws. "If he's as big as a castle, it may involve heavy casualities. Darkrai is small and agile and can concentrate a lot of power and magic in small spot. A giant may be able to overpower him, but this is where agility and skills comes into play." She gestured at herself. "Trust me, I fought many large pokemon. Even after becoming a Raichu, I'm still smaller than most of my opponents. If Torch would fight Darkrai, either he would win while burning down half of the city, or he would lose with city being mostly in ruins. His assistance would probably help, but Canterlot is a poor location for a giant to have a final battle agianst a magical powerhouse."
Nica rolled her eyes. "I wish..." She stood on a single foot while raising one rear paw closer to her belly. She pointed at it and said, "My legs aren't as small as they were when I was a Pikachu, and my jumping is incredible. I feel learning a move called 'Hi-Jump-Kick' is something I should learn, but no." She sighed. "Such a pity since it's such a powerful fighting move. Brick Break is way weaker, too weak to be an alternative. My 'Volt Tackle' alone can do way more damage."
She leaped backward, landing on her pillows. "Not that I complain. My fighting style is mostly defensive. I can handle a fight Darkrai without a powerful fighting move... I hope."

Do you know anything about a pokemon named 'Missingno.'? I ask because there are strange rumors about it, from how it affect pokemon that fight against him, to even make strange things happen around.

Nica, what do you know about a pokemon named 'Mimikyu'? We only know that this pokemon seems to have a strange fascination for Pikachu and that looking under the costume is very bad. That and his drawing is horrible. Even if his true form is horrible and could hurt others... Why exactly a Pikachu? From all the pokemon that exist.
Could you learn to talk? We know that you have the necklace, but there are rumors about a Meowth that managed to learn to speak human, so it's not impossible for pokemon to talk.

Do you think Darkrai is hypocritical? He was tortured by humans, forced to obey, and now he is torturing ponies and try to force you to obey, sending pokemons to do his work.

Nica closed her eyes and started massaging her forehead. "Mimikyu... Mimikyu... for some reason, I feel I heard that name before."
Ten seconds, thirty seconds, one minute later, Nica stopped her intense thinking to look at her quest. "My memories are still incomplite, but when you mentioned the pokemon Mimikyu, I started having those strange images. I was fighting one... then Astra caught him." She took a quick breath. "He didn't like me more than others on the team for a while for some reason, and it even used his powers to give me nightmares each night while watching and feeding on them."
Nica tapped her forehead, trying to recall more events. "But one night he woke me up from nightmare that he caused and appologised, and he started being very friendly with me. I'm not sure what he saw in my dream, but it changed out relationship for the better." Nica smiled before adding, "I also remember that one day I tried to give him a honest hug, which means that I walked under the costume to hug his real form." She tapped her forepaws together. "Let's just say that Mimikye was incredibly happy that I not only managed to survive, but actually remained concious to hug and nuzzle his real form for ten seconds. He praised my durability." She shrugged. "Those are all cut-off events from my second visit in Alola. I don't remember the full context and the events that happened in between, so I'm afraid I can't answer second part of your question."

Nica lowered her head and looked to the side. "I suppouse I could... but... I already spend half a year to learn how to read and write, and I need to keep myself in great shape. I don't know how much effort it would take for me to learn how to talk and if I have talent to do it, but I can't affort any long-lasting distractions like that."
Nica blushed. "W-well... Humans aren't all that diferent from pokemon, so I think it is possible. Though I think that the breeding egg group for humans is rather small. Not sure which pokemon would allow breeding." She raised her forepaw up to her mouth and chuckled nervously. "Let's stick with powerful friendships between human and pokemon. Love is a delicate topic."
"I don't think it's hypocricy, but rather a bad company." Nica raised her forepaw and said, "Let's say that you have a big goal, you're very motivated, and you believe it will benefit many. In order to achieve it, you must hurt or even take lives of those who get in your way, but you convince yourself that it will be worth it in the end. At one point you sacreficed too much to turn back and you can only press forwward."
NIca lowered her head, now staring at her own rear feet. "He really cared about me. He suspected I was send to stop him, yet didn't get rid of me when he had the opportunity. I thnk he meet me many times and spared my life when I still didn't remember how to use my moves. He even tried to find a peaceful solution where I join him or get out of his way. I ruined everything he has worked so hard for, so I don't blame him that he's after me."
She raised her head, narrowed her eyes and slamed her forepaw against the table. "But I can't stand that he's trying to get to me by hurting ponies. " She frowmed. "If only he could meet ponies, and earn from them about their kindess and friendship, he would learn to respect them. If anything, it's Chrysalis fault. She wanted to use him and most likely presented ponies in very bad light. He may be a hipocrite in a way, but it's bad company that corrupted his believes."

Nica shook her head. "I don't know who this Discord is, but I heard he's missing. As for Starlight and Twilight, they don't have any point of reference to even start. Darkrai and Chrysalis had months to perfect their summoning spell after Chrysalis summoned Darkrai for the first time. Unless we would find books that Chrysalis used, it would be like looking for needle in milions of stacks of hay. Even if they discovered a spell taht can send me to another world, there would be no telling to what world it would be."

Nica, while is true that usually Pokemon fight against others and trainers help even going to gyms... Did you had the chance of explain to Twilight about pokemon shows? Or how Pokemon Coordinators usually make a big show to show more style that a fight in them?

Nica shook her head energically. "I didn't. My trainer and I, we didn't exacly got into those knid of stuff." She looked at the window while tapping her chin. "Now that I think about it, ever since I evolved into Raichu and found fighting against weaker opponents unfair, the pokemon shows and contests started to sound more and more atractive."
She leaped onto the table, placed her tail on the table while forming it into a string, and then balanced herself on it. She slowly raised herself until she balanced herself as a whole on tip of her long tail. "I actually started to really enjoy those stuff. I think the reason why I did so well during the festival that Pinkie took me in was because I did these stuff during contests. I quite often scored a lot of points for being graceful and agile." She lowered herself slightly as her tail once again started looking like a string.
She smiled sheepishly. "Though when it come to two pokemon attacking each other in stylish way, I almost always went for defense, earning points for creative ways to evade or defend against my opponent's attacks, and some extra when I used electricity in a flashy way. I think my best trick was dancing on my own electricity, occasionally bouncing on my tail." She chuckled. "But since I almost never targeted my opponents, I lost many points on that department. Not that I cared much about victory. Just having fun and making a show for the audience so they could have fun was all I wanted." She streched her tail, pushing herself towards her pillow. She backflipped in mid-air before landing on tip of her rear foot while performing a polite bow. "Tada."
1- Nica, why do you downplay yourself too much? You could had convinced Pikachu better if you showed him a good example, like for example your example, and how you trained to the max as a pichu before your trainer let you evolve to Pikachu and then to Raichu. Maybe if you told him your story you could convince him better.

3- What could you say is the best adventure you know that Pikachu had and what could be the best adventure you had?
4- Pikachu managed to show great potential as a Pikachu as he managed to defeat Lt. Surge Raichu as a Pikachu... In a pokemon battle against him, do you think you could fight seriously against him?
