Just started watching Season 6, and I already like Time Traveling Communist Starlight Glimmer than Post-Reformation Starlight Glimmer. Just feels more natural I guess (even if her backstory doesn't). Besides, imagine her speaking smugly to Twilight in a Russian accent whilst sitting beside the Cutie Map.
"Privyet, Princess Twilight."
"Starlight, what have you done?"
"Nothing yet, but with ze power of zis Map I shall go back in time to erase you from history! Zen you can't stop me from igniting my world revolution!"
"That's crazy!"
"In zat case, I am crazy!"
Twilight gasped as Starlight rose to the portal to the past.
"Do svidaniya, Princess Twilight! XAXAXAXAXAXAXA!"
