On the future of The Princess's Captain · 8:53pm May 28th, 2018
I know I had a little breakdown in the comments of the second story, please ignore that. <.< Nothing's going anywhere.
SO
Today, I sat down and organized my 11 pages of notes on this sumbitch. Holy shit, there are 30 stories planned for The Princess's Captain. D: That includes:
- The ten-part adventure I have planned for TPC 3 c.c;
- The actual shipping, which happens after... about 12 more stories, sorry D:
- The mature fics, which will likely get their own post
- Some fics that focus more on the rest of the mane six, that might also get their own post
That does not include the three omake chapters. :V Those will get their own post, eventually, and there will likely be more.
In fact, there will likely be more of everything, because this is going to be a very nuts and bolts slice of life story, when it isn't a huge, sweeping adventure epic. There are large spaces on the timeline, in other words, especially later on, and I will definitely find things to fill them in as I write. :) I've already got a large number of entries planned just because something came up in the planning or writing of a previous entry.
As for when I'll actually start writing the next story, I dunno. It doesn't have a good title, which bothers me. I also need to come up with something...
Oh heck. Spoilers in case you don't want to learn anything ahead of time: What's a friendship problem Twilight and Tempest can solve in Canterlot? I was thinking about using the fashion designers from Honest Apple, but I think I'd rather have it be about Moondancer. But most importantly, it needs to be something that the two of them together can solve, that no one else could.
Once I have that squared away, I'll be prepared to start on it. :) Until then, hope you enjoyed the cutie mark story!
Fuck I still need to read this
Tempest needs to poop
Some kind of dispute in the Royal Guard barracks, maybe? Twilight uses her Princess Clearance to get in, and Tempest solves the problem with her combat experience and/or advice about Duty.
Just read the last part. Good stuff, man!
Perhaps there is a young pony in Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns that is under tremendous pressure from his or her parents to succeed, and is convinced his/her smaller-than-average (for a pony that age) horn is holding her back?

Oh damn, I really like this. c.c

You're no fun

Happy to be of assistance! If you want, you could have Moondancer be the young pony's private tutor, letting her become worried and seek help when she has a student close to burnout on her hooves, and parents unwilling to see a problem.

Of course, I just had the flash today that I could not write the friendship problem, since it's not the focus here, kind of like what I did with "Tempest Meets the CMCs"...
I'll have to think about it. But if I use this idea, you will get full credit for it. :)
Moondancer needs love.
I'm still annoyed how Twilight and Sunset walked right past her in the Library without at least stopping to say hello or inviting her to join their research project in the restricted section. You're being a bad friend again, Twi.

Sounds like reasonable scenario. Tempest really has to poop, but she's too up tight to do so, and wants Twilight's advice on the matter. She's hesitant to ask because the situation is embarrassing, especially when the cutie map points her out in front of everypony. How can Twilight solve this problem?!
