WELP.
As inspired by my recent trip to Everfree Northwest, I've written another pony story. Not a metatextual riff on some side characters, not something with the Equestria Girls universe, but a straightforward 'these are magic horses in magic horseland' sort of thing. You know, like you might find on the show! Just with shipping and alcohol.
Honestly, this is probably going to turn out to be the most 'standard' pony-fic I've written in awhile, in that it probably will fall into any number of various fanfic tropes (some of which I'm aware of, some of which I'm not). It's pretty different from most of what I've written (I'm using the dreaded "Sad" tag, gasp!) ... but at the same time I think it'll be fun.
And, SPOILERY DISCLAIMER, the story's not over yet, so don't worry about it ending on a down note or anything. I'll have the next chapter (and likely conclusion) written up ... eventually, but in the meanwhile I will probably take way too much perverse enjoyment in watching people flail around in the meanwhile. Which makes the perhaps presumptuous assumption that my horsewords will give you FEELS, so I may be getting ahead of myself.
Huzzah! More horsewords!
