Hello everybody!
Have you ever wanted to see an idea of yours come to life, but you can't do it yourself? Well, maybe I can help! 
From this moment forth, I'll be leaving open slots for Free Story Requests!
Now, before you go and tell me what you'd like to see being written, I'd like to set a few rules, agreements and provide some tips:
Rule #1) No lewd stuff! I have no practice writing it, so I won't be takin lewd story requests!
Rule #2) No Spamming the thread! If I didn't agree on taking your request, you can give me another suggestion, but don't keep asking for the same thing! You won't convince me to change my mind by spamming something I already said no. (Beleive me, I'm more stubborn than you '-')
Rule #3) No weird stuff! Kinda related to rule #1, I won't be taking on fetish story requests or stuff like that, even if it's not lewd. (Did it once, kinda regret it '-')
Agreement #1) I reserve full rights over the story! You'll be credited in the story description as the requester, but since I'm the one writing, the story will belong to me and will be posted here in my account. (No exceptions!)
Agreement #2) I'll take however long I need/want! I write for fun and that will never change, I'll write your request when I feel like doing so, altho I'll try to get it done within a month, but that's not guaranteed!
Agreement #3) I may choose to abandon the project at any moment! Like mentioned on agreement #2, I write for fun, and if I'm not enjoying writing your request, I'll send you whatever I've written about it so far and I'll abandon the project.
Agreement #4) I may never write request of yours! Again, I'll only write what I deem to be fun. If I refuse to write all your requests, it's nothing personal, your ideas simply didn't interest me.
Tip #1) Short stories have a better chance of being selected! I already have a lot of long projects in the works, adding one more does not interest me. If you really catch my attention with your idea, I might consider it, but one-shots have greater chances of being picked.
Tip #2) Requests doesn't need to be about original content! You may request me to write a side fic/ continuation of another fic I've written or maybe something else, however, if you ask me to write about another author's work, I'll have to consult them first on the matter. (Be warned! asking me to write a side fic to a long original story may discourage me from picking your request!)
Tip #3) Cover art helps a lot! Providing me a cover art for your request greatly increases your chances to have it picked since it will give me more inspiration to write it. Your cover art doesn't need to be an original piece, and if you did get a piece from another artist, provide me a link to the picture's page so I can properly credit the artist!
Tip #4) Details, they are important! The most important thing you request must have is detail, you can send me the most beautiful cover art ever, but if I don't have any context or details of what exactly you want me to write, I won't be able to do it! (Plus, a detailless request doesn't really catch my interest '-')

'Dunno. Usually with requests I just toss an idea and let the commissioner fill in the rest. I typically give a lot of creative freedom to people I request from.

A pony retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk. A orphan colt by the name of Pipsqueak is given magic seeds by Zecora after he wishes for a mother. After a gigantic apple tree grows from seed climbs said tree to a floating continent in the clouds where he finds a massive cottage. Pipsqueak isn't sure of whether or not to go inside the massive cottage until he hears a musical song which is Octavia practicing on her cello and decides to sneak in. Inside the cottage he finds a giantess mare Octavia, at first she's annoyed at the little intruder but she feels sorry for him and thinks he's cute so she invites him to have lunch with her. During the meal she reveals that she's lonely and when he tells her that he hasn't got any parents, she decides to adopt him. After lunch they play a little game of Cat and Mouse where Octavia tries to find a hidden Pipsqueak.
And if you can't or don't want to this, I understand.

Like I said in the tips, too little detail.
Not a request per se, just an idea:
a unicorn was infected with a parasite before or shortly after birth. The parasite in question lives off of magic, and simply constantly drains its hosts of mana. As a result the unicorn in question is unable to cast any spells of their own, however, due to having had the parasite so early, they found a way to adapt:
Going by the concept "the more silent you become, the more you can hear", having no magic of their own since early foalhood rendered them able to read any magic around them like a book.
This includes identifying spells before they are fully cast, or predicting what a newly encountered spell will do. At some point, they also learn to hijack other's spells for their own purposes, rewriting them mid-cast.
As for potential conflict: some villain wants to use that unicorn to deflect, negate or destroy the elements of harmony when they are used against them.
