I have a big decision. · 4:33pm May 7th, 2018
This is a personal entry, more for me than you guys. If you don't care, than just skip this. I'm in the middle of a personal crisis, and I just feel like talking about it.
Last week, my ACT score came in: I got a 31 out of 36. It's a great score, and I'm excited and all, but it poses the question to me: should I go to college immediately?
In about a year, I'll turn 18, and my social security benefits will cut out. If I go straight to college, and odds are very good that if I can pull my GPA up some I could snag a full ride anywhere I want, it will mean that I'm not working, and my mom will probably lose our house. On the other hand, if I go to work now (I've been thinking about the military, coast guard mainly) I will probably be able to pay the house off, but it would mean slowing down my education.
I just can't decide.
On a completely different note, I've been focused mainly on my finals, so my new story probably won't be out until June. Ah, the hectic life of a student.
