Between issues with my health and some family issues I had to deal with have been slightly slow with updates but will have one up later today, although I probably should explain what my ideas are for this story.
First look, I know the whole Celestia adopting Sunset thing has been done to death. But that will be just one plot point. Before I post the update I want to point out this is is a complete AU. Meaning things will be a bit different from canon and with that being said; be prepared to see humanized versions of some other characters.
A lot of the backstory for Sunset, as well as who her family is (amongst other things) is ideas and scenarios I put together from things she's said either in her lyrics, lines or even in the comics. If you have any questions or what not about the story or my theories or whatever feel free to ask me.
As for Celestia, No I don't hate her but I could imagine her having to decide between personal feelings and what would be best politically. We've seen time and time again in the series that even the princesses have moments (Luna and Celestia bickering over their jobs in that one starlight episode for example.)
Anyway enough of this update. I'm still new to this so I will leave this here.
