    Revised Harmony Spirits

I wanted a full set of these with proper art, so with permissions from mauroz, here they are. A couple effects have been tweaked to be consistent with modern vernacular in the card game and for my own better understanding of card design and balancing, and I also added a new "Tier 1.5" form for Twilight so she can have her own Fusion outside the ace monster, and finally added Sunset as a

Sunbutt intensifies 1000% percent.

Let's get that out of the way immediately, Celestia is all sorts of adorable in this episode. It starts off right out the gate with her giddy dancing at Twilight's idea, then proceeds to her awful acting. And at last, we bear witness to CELESTIA'S ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE! I also like the continuity in referencing the Two Sisters journal, with teams of unicorns that used to raise the sun and moon before the Two Sisters took over.

So the entire episode is based on Twilight trying to manage difficulties with the play while also handling Celestia being an awful, awful actress. And to Twilight's credit, it isn't just her hero worship of Celestia that stops her from just confronting her about her bad acting, Celestia mentioned she's always wanted to be in a play but never had time, so Twilight wants to make her dream come true. Meanwhile the production undergoes other problems, which involve a glorious cameo from Trixie that I just know she did on purpose.

This was an episode that's been long coming, Twilight's inability or refusal to see flaws in her idols has long been one of her major character flaws and they finally tackled that. Celestia's disappointment in Twilight for how she handled things was good and I like how she took charge to get things rolling again, making the point she never necessarily wanted to act, just be part of the production in some way. And the ending joke was amazing.

All in all a lot of fun.

I don't know if it gelled as a whole, but there were so many hilarious moments, I'll even take the cringey ones alongside them.

Seriously, Starlight dissed Twilight but good. :D

Yeah no.

I really liked the premise of this episode, but unfortunately, I could not enjoy it because of one glaring message it shows that I really hate about the community. In order to make one character look good, they have to make all the other characters look bad in comparison. And they hammered that in so thickly with this episode that I just couldn't enjoy it.

Otherwise, I would've loved this. We finally get to see Princess Celestia show the very reason why she is my favorite of all the princesses. She's a nice and regal ruler who, beyond her duties, loves to be hyper and have fun like a normal pony. Her giddy excitement was very well expressed.

But my gosh, did they really have to make her so dense at the same time? Like I said, the only reason somepony else looks so good in this episode is because they made every other character look so bad to the point it felt so forced, Celestia included.

(On a side note, when I was trying to find this episode, I found a version that had absolutely no music in it, and I was like... 'What the heck?')
