As if today wasn’t difficult enough. Just found that a close relative, who’s been waiting on the transplant list for so long, who had a donor lined up ready to go - Got stopped at the last hurdle because of a new law that was not long put in place.
It’s so... -Screams in rage- WE WERE SO CLOSE!!
With this transplant, my relative would’ve been guaranteed borrowed time up to ten years to see my kids grow up whom they adore and now we have to wait for god knows how long for another one... And they may be dead before that happens...

I'm so sorry to hear that. I want to say something more encouraging, but can't find the words. Still, I hope your relative gets alright.
