A little apology... · 6:45pm Oct 26th, 2012
I would like to apologize for the fact that I haven't been actively reading and writing other people's stories in the community. I want to, I just haven't had much time. Honestly, my writing is a bit distracted too because of all the stuff I have going on. I want to do something this weekend to catch up, but My Little Pony Online is releasing at the end of the month and I am trying to squeeze my first contribution to the project into it (I'm a programmer.)
I will be continuing work on "To Everpony, A Season" more avidly once the release happens and I get to settle down. I love the way the prologue came out and it's caused me to be very particular about some of the middle parts of the story, which could come across as filler if I handle it wrong. I had a reason for every scene, but it's one of those things you notice in retrospect.
I don't know why I'm doing this to myself... working on a game prototype, joining the MLPO crew, and writing my first actual literature in years. My work ethic went into overdrive, but I might be wearing out my abilities. I need to find a day to sit back, have some scotch and play my Gamecube, for the sake of the projects and my mental health.
And I look forward to reading other writers real soon. I want us all to openly and constructively discuss our works and enjoy our shared love of a truly wonderful show. Lots of love!
