Not sure if it's right for some people but, I tend to feel of generation through generations for the art style. It is clearly intended to that the generation one is more story based concept. Pony tails are the next of the agenda of the slice of life which is really good. For the generation three Very Minty Christmas has a good song and it kept getting into my head. So then I sing it all the time and it's still my favorite song. For generation four Season one and two are my favorites till season three through season eight. Not sure why but, I figure there is going to be lots of fillers to get to the next check point of the story.
