A small part of me can't help but Wonder why Rainbow Dash is so desperate to ride a rollercoaster, she flies fast enough to break the sound barrier without even trying. After being capable of doing that... can a roller coaster really compare that well?

Welp, this was an... decent episode, kind of predictable, but nothing bad in my opinion. I give it a 4.5 out of 10.

I think the Spitfire and Fleetfoot playing chess picture was a reference to those pictures (possibly Photoshopped) of various people playing various games on Splash Mountain.
Okay but like, why did ghost Applejack get to wink knowingly at the end? Her bad advice was the driving force behind Rainbow's overprotective actions, and is a reflection of how Applejack often underestimates her own grandmother just for being old. This message made a lot more sense when a young and naive Apple Bloom was the one underestimating old people.
