So back in the late 90s, when Funimation took complete control of production of the English adaptation of Dragon Ball Z, it took them a while to finish the Frieza saga and move past it.
As the VHS releases slooooowly rolled out (yes, this was back in the VHS days still), on the late Frieza saga tapes, a certain promo Funimation cut in-house began appearing.
The gang at Funimation proved that they're enormous fans of a certain character...a character fans like me were tangibly excited to finally see dubbed in English.
Earlier today, I was randomly watching DBZ in bed, and I remembered this old Funimation promo. Lo and behold, YouTube provides...
Gonna be honest, as cool as that was, I now have a furious headache.
Yes this was my FAV promo for DBZ...until the announcement trailer for DBZ Kai. I swear that Kame Hame Ha gives me goose bumps!
