BABSCon: I liked it. I would recommend the con because it is about pony and, by design, more about community and fun together. Very well run.
Sooo... I met Kelly Sheridan, the VA for the pony I've written the most about. I learned that the director had her come up with a different voice for the bad Glimmer and a modified voice for the redeemed one, because they wanted her sound different, presumably more repentant. Explains why I thought they were two different actors. Kelly is thrilled to be working with a character that's going through so many life issues. The VAs even get to ad lib some lines when they feel the character would say something different than written There's a reason this show is so good.
Anyway, I was unable to secure a Starlight Glimmer plush, so I had my old tee-shirt...
