Honorary Part of my Brown Sugar Story Preview Series · 2:07am Mar 31st, 2018
As you know, today is the intended release date of my story for Brown Sugar, that I talked about so often lately. Now, something unexpected happened. I went over the story and found more things that need fixing, which means it will take longer for me to create the final version that I want to release here.
I'm sorry if you look forward to the story and if this disappoints you now. But I want that this story will have a very high quality once you get to read it. A past background pony fic I wrote did not get much attention, so I want to give this one even more work and time to ensure that the plot and the style are really excellent.
However, I will not let you hang here with nothing after announcing the release for today. Below, I provide a small preview for what is coming to you.
It's not final and there might be some changes to what you're reading, but here is a little compensation for the longer wait:
As she came closer, a filly with a dark-pink coat and a fluffy, blue mane perched on top of a cube-shaped climbing frame looked over, having spotted her. She waved, then climbed down the frame in swift agility. On the ground, she cantered into her direction, a happy smile on her lips. “Hey, Brown Sugar!” she chirped, a pair of tiny wings unfolded, and stretched out a hoof.
Brown Sugar returned the smile in kind. “Good Morning, Plumberry!” She bumped the hoof of her friend. Then she looked behind the other filly, scrutinizing the playground. In quick succession, her eyes went over the climbing frame, the swings, the slides, the small carousel and a few other playground structures. As she found all of them empty, she looked back at Plumberry. “Where are Titania and the rest?” she asked, feeling a bit of worry raising in her chest.
“They will be late,” she answered. “Titania mentioned something about an apple cart on the loose and a broken shop window and that their parents and some other adults detain them now.” She shrugged her shoulders.
“De.....tain them?” Brown Sugar asked, furrowing her brow. “What does that mean?”
Plumberry shrugged again. “Probably means they're going to get house arrest for the whole day, but I bet they're going to snuck out with Titania later anyway, you know them.”
I might release another preview once I have refined everything more. Again, sorry for another delay. I hope you will understand that I don't want to sacrifice the quality of the story to a deadline.
I will keep you up-to-date on the progress!

Well, I always get confused when easter really is due it being on different days.
