Peanut Pastry

Peanut Pastry is Brown Sugar's mother and legal guardian. She is a rich mare with more money than she and Brown Sugar could ever need.
Since Peanut Pastry does not need a job to secure her and her daughter's livelihood, she has plenty of time to do whatever she wants. Unfortunately, she spends all of this time in fancy restaurants, at prestigious galas and any other opportunities to mingle with the high society of Canterlot.
To Brown Sugar's dismay, this means she falls by the wayside all the time. Peanut Pastry's decadent lifestyle gives her daughter plenty of freedom, but also plenty of loneliness.
Peanut Pastry hardly ever notices the attempts of her daughter to get her attention and Brown Sugar is always just on the edge of her party-obsessed mind.
