Online Panel #1 And where to find it! · 11:00pm Oct 24th, 2012
And it's done!
The panel was a success all thanks to our guests and all of you who graced us with your presence! I'm hoping to organize the next one sometime next month, so stay tuned! I'll announce it as always in one of the blogs!
You can watch it on YouTube:

As well as LIVESTREAM
Thanks again, and I hope you all enjoyed it!

I did! It was nice to get in and talk to the other community members. Hopefully, the next one will be on a weekend so that I can participate more in the chat. Doing so from work was... tricky...
It was interesting to watch, bummed you guys had that cap limit. I was slightly sad. Didn't get to hear Municipal unfortunately, I find it fun to try and place where you all reside in the world.
It was fun and informative. First time I've ever bothered to hang out on a live stream. The chat was a bit confusing as to who was talking to who, but I don't think that can be helped (e.g. was DVP111 calling me a nerd at the end? I had just proved I knew the speed of light off the top of my head but I might have been presumptious. In any case, I would take it as a compliment, so there!)
I think the biggest thing I took away from it was that you can't just sit down and decide to write a story. You can only really go where inspiration takes you.
Could you give me the exact URL, please?

446067 Well, on every browser I've ever used, when you play the video there's a "watch on youtube" button near the bottom left. You should be able to get it there.

Thanks for the link.
Oh great! Thanks for the youtube upload.
Hopefully next time the panel will happen on a time I can be around.

I'm using an iPad, but thanks anyway!
This is already over? If so, darn. Stupid chores. If it's still going a chance to speak (type) with both you WD and Pen Stroke would be a massive honor. Please tell me it's still going.
It's cool to be able to put a voice to the authors that I follow. I'm now going to able to read all your blog posts in your actual voices! Neat!
Wanderer this is not how I expected you to sound at all.
446426 How did you think I would sound like?
446428 More exuberant.
Is that an accent?
I was so sad to miss this, but I had to be at work at the time. I'm having a blast listening to the recording, though, and I'm glad that you had a good turn up. These are the kind of things that need more attention! Thank you for putting it together
EDIT: Ooh, you guys answered my question! I was afraid it'd get lost in the ocean. Very nice answers too, I've always wondered how much an author should let his readers influence the story.
There is no way it's 200,000 words. I read that in an afternoon.
446432 Well, it's more like three accents combined.
446514 Italian?
446525 nope.
446514 By your accents combined, you are Wanderer D! Thanks for the fun time.
GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I missed it. 3/4 authors I love (the 4th i should read sometime maybe 4/4) darn it. oh well.
446537 Russian?
446754 Maybe some British? dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Derpy_Hooves.png I'm pretty sure he said he went there once. Then again, I'm pretty sure he's been to at least a few parts of Europe. So I'm going to guess Taiwanese, cause that makes sense.
Thank you muchly, Wanderer, this was an absolute treat to listen to. Thanks to both you and Pen Stroke for answering both my questions, I still can't quite believe that that actually happened.
I look forward to the next one and may I provisionally suggest Ciroton and TAW for the next panel?
446537
Wait, are you French?
447446>>446754>>447354
French, Italian, British, Russian... You're all wrong. D is Latias. Ain't you, D? But yeah, you sounded strangely human... You must have trained hard.
Anyways, thanks for the great panel! I had the privilege of being able to join it before the rest of FimFiction zerg-swarmed it. Please, reserve more than 50 watching spots for the audience next time, if it's possible.
446537 Liar.
449531 447446 - It's a mix of British English, American English and Mexican Spanish. With the tiniest bit of italian from my mother's side. But I don't really count that since I don't speak Italian. (Can read it, though )
449976
What nationality are you?
449977 Mexican-American
Born in Texas, grew up in Mexico for the most part.
449982
That's the weirdest Mexican accent I've ever heard. It sounds Continental European.
Heuh
Oh, hey, the guy had the Gurren Lagann symbol as his avatar. Cool.
