In the next half hour or so, Discord Builds an Ant Farm will be going live. Special thanks to WrathofGod519 for the idea. It is labelled as sad, but I think of it as more of a bitter-sweet comedy. Unfortunately THE MAN won't let me tag stories as both Sad and Comedy, so I went with its main direction. Please read, comment, critique, vote, etc.
By Friday:
The Amorous Adventures of Scootaloo's Helmet will have its first chapter up. I decided to use all three of Iloveportalz0r's request, so expect a ridiculous amount of helmet-on-pony sex and a climactic final battle between a good and evil (not approved by the ENSI) helmet and ... yeah, it's gonna be that kind of fic.
The next chapter or four of The Blood Runs Crazy. I intended to update it over the week end, but then I wasn't happy with the scene at Applejack's grave so things got switched around.
Before Halloween:
The conclusion to The Blood Runs Crazy. Continuing a horror story into November would just be gauche, know what I'm saying?
Chapters 2-3 (and maybe the conclusion) to The Amorous Adventures of Scootaloo's Helmet. Should be a fairly fast and random story, but I'm trying not to make too many promises. It will start this week, be continued next week, and end well before Thanksgiving.
The climactic final conclusion of O'Marelly's Bar & Grill. This is the story that got me to the relative non-anonymity I enjoy today. None of what I've written since would have happened had I not decided the world needed a sequel to A Fun Day in which Scootaloo guns down Rainbow Dash to the sounds of Nick Cave. Which, I think, is part of the reason I've been so reluctant to close that chapter of my life. Still, Twilight has waited long enough for Scoots and Applebloom to say "hello" (seriously, she's been standing right there for like 3 months. That is some crazy patience).
Things You Might See this Month or Next Month
These are some ideas I've been kicking around.
A sequel to Six Months in July centering around the fallout of that story. More specifically, Big Macintosh is being accused of the murder, but obviously didn't do it. However, he refuses to defend himself in court, much to Twilight's bafflement and frustration. This may or may not turn into a longer story about the downfall of the Pie and Apple families as well as Twilight's descent into madness.
The sequel itself, I can just about guarantee.
Patriot an M/M clopfic about Thunderlane being temporarily assigned to the Wonderbolts staff while awaiting discharge from the Equestrian army. Basically, they humiliate and rape him into being a good Equestrian. Kind of based on my own not so happy time in the military (though I never got raped, at least). Nationalism is a form of masochism, would be the general theme.
I wouldn't hold your breath on this one. I've technically been promising it for over a month, and ... I think it might be too personal to actually write and publish, you know? Also, I won't even publish the first chapter until I've got everything drafted out.
Hell in Equestria a while ago, I was gonna do a Hellraiser crossover. The story kind of fell apart, so I deleted it. However, I've still got a bunch of random ideas about it (including a Fluttershy/Angel-cenobite, a Daring Do story, and a story based on the Harrowers miniseries with Gilda as the Equestrian Ron Ringwood). It won't be a coherent story, but more in the vein of the comics series (short vignettes).
Pretty good odds on this one, I think. The Daring Do story is already written, the Fluttershy-cenobite just needs some tweaking to be a standalone.
And, of course, more things going up butts. Because that's the sort of person I am. I'll try to write another one that can qualify for a teen rating, so your little sister can follow along (in case someone has a little sister who's been anxiously asking, "What happened after Luna put the cellphone in her ass?")
And, obviously, whatever Mindfondler Monday entries I do for the Cockroach Club. Our theme this week is Music. Please join and write and stuff, yes.
