New Legend of Sunset Shimmer Story - Update. *Yet another delay* · 11:17pm Feb 27th, 2018
Why is it that whenever I make plans, they always fall apart because of some unforeseen problem. This time, the problem revolves around me being sick so I can't start this story this week--I'll take any criticism for delaying things so much--until I've recovered.
Fortunately, this is where the bad news ends as I do have some positive stuff to say. For starters, now that Forgotten Friendship has been released, my story will take place after its events, and that means Wallflower Blush can make an appearance. It also means that the reconciliation between Sunset and Celestia will be referenced--I'm not going to do a re-enactment as there would be no point--further cementing where this will take place.
I've also figured out how this story is going to begin so allow me to share the general premise with you. It's going to follow what happened in the first story--slumber party--but the main difference is only Sunset ends up getting dragged into the land of Hyrule while the rest of the Mane Six are forced to watch what happens on Rainbow Dash's television screen--they aren't portraying anyone this time and instead secondary/minor characters will be portraying the various old men, old women, and merchants scattered about. Also, Princess Twilight finds herself in the role of the heroine whilst Sunset acts as her partner.
However, Sunset won't be portraying a fairy or anything like that. Instead, she will be a transparent avatar who accompanies Twilight everywhere and while she can't fight, she can interact with everything around her. I know this isn't quite how it worked in the original Legend of Zelda but I thought this would make for an interesting twist. Will Ganondorf make an appearance? Yes, but he won't be fighting Sunset this time around as she isn't the main star. Instead, he'll rely on his usual manipulation. The original version of the Dark Lord, Ganon, will still be the final boss though he will have dialogue, especially in Level 9.

There shouldn't be ANY criticism for that. And since the other girls will be watching, does that mean they'll actually have an idea of what's been going on now?
The transparent Sunset reminds me of Zelda from Spirit Tracks before she gets her magic armor.
