Today I finished my first story, The Sunset Also Rises. However, it is not the end for that storyline. It is merely book one in my Rising Universe. Book 2: Friendship Rising is currently in the queue waiting to be published, but just the prologue. I have loved writing in this universe.
And I have enjoyed being a part of it!

I enjoyed it, though the last chapter and epilogue seemed rushed. I guess I was expecting to see a little more of their youth, though I understand wanting to get to where they depart for Ponyville.

I tried. I thought that I could get more of their time. But, it's hard while trying to keep the antisocialness of Book Horse. I will be releasing Holiday specials of some of the times they spent as fillies, for some of the holidays. In the end, the time jump seemed the best course of action. The mares just interacting with each other and having a few moments with others didn't seem very interesting. Flashbacks are also an important part of stories, so if I find a way to get more filly Sunset in flashbacks, I might.
