Question about changelings - Exercise in Management chapters. · 12:17pm Feb 26th, 2018
I've asked this question once before in regards to a different story, but here goes:
What chapter format suits you better for Exercise in Management?
1) Short chapters (1-1,5k words)
- little bits easier to read similar to Hard to Find the Right Words, but may lack detail or broader context since I'm historically not good enough to squeeze it in.
- weekly updates will be possible sooner, I think.
- might be more funny bits than straight up story.
2) Longer chapters (2,5-5k words)
- allow for a bit more detail but often feel to me more like they simply drag on, like New Age.
- take longer to write. The bi-weekly updates are what I'm managing right now. I should shorten it eventually anyway, but work is busy atm.
- turn out to be a serious "storyline" eventually.
3) Stop writing, dear god just stop this drivel!
- I'd get bored soon, I think.
I enjoy the bi-weekly updates. The amount of detail you gice out has a ceetain appeal too it if you have read other sfories that just dont keep you interested because they gloss over everything. I think you could space your updates out some with maybe having a major update every three weeks for story content and maybe a funny shorter part in between them.
