Eeeeee! Well, after a year of insane hours working two jobs, I finally got a career spot with the postal service! No more 'will they renew me this year?' or overlapping for 80 hour weeks! Well, okay, some overlapping since it's still only a part time spot. But NOT AS MANY HOURS.
I can spend more time on fics again. Oh, and having a life. And friends. Gosh, that sort of thing.
I liiiive! And 2017 is already showing signs of being better-- I'm now in the process of buying my first house, wowie! It's small, but since it's just me and the cats it's perfect. I'm sooooo jazzed!
Hope life is treating everyone a bit better. 
It sucked. It's over. Yay!
Also, since I'm not working insane hours at both jobs, things are looking up a little. Also yay.
No real purpose to this, other than to replace the blog post about my dead cat.. It's so sweet that people keep giving me condolences, but still... Anyways, back on track, all is well, etcetera. Getting caught up on editing again.
Heyo. I don't usually use this thing, but just to let folks know why I've dropped the ball on editing and commenting and such..
Yeah, my cat died the day before yesterday. She'd been sick and getting worse for a month and a half, and at the end it was grand mal seizures and all kinds of other icky stuff. That plus new job (overnights, of all things) have pretty much made me AWOL.

4803851Yeah. Me, as well. I started a new job about a year and a half ago, and I've been working 70 hour weeks. It was much more involved than I'd anticipated. I'm getting better now, so the time commitment has been reduced some, but it's still highly stressful. I totally get where you're coming from.
