Applejack
Age: 16-17
Sexual Orientation: Romantic Asexual. As established in A Is For..., Applejack has no real interest in sex. However, even though she has yet to find anyone who has gotten her attention, she does like the idea of falling in love and hopes one day she'll find someone she can settle down and maybe start a family with.
Vehicle: Applejack doesn't have a vehicle of her own, but she usually can borrow either Big Mac or Granny's trucks in a pinch. As seen in Repercussions, however, Applejack and Big Mac's truck do not get along, usually requiring AJ to fiddle with wires, poke around under the hood, and indulge in some highly creative cursing to get the truck to start. This happens almost every time she gets behind the wheel of Mac's truck.
Income: Applejack's income is divided between an allowance which comes from apple and cider sales at Sweet Apple Acres, and her part time job at the Canterlot Mall smoothie stand. She usually works the smoothie stand one or two days a week Spring through Fall, but that usually goes up to three or four days in the winter months when the harvest is over.
Music: Applejack's a country gal, through and through. Although she also likes some pop and rock music as well. The other girls have yet to gain Applejack's appreciation for country, but she's confident she'll wear them down any day now. Seriously. Any day. Fluttershy showed an interest in what she was listening to once.
Entertainment: Along with Sunset and Rainbow Dash, Applejack likes video games, but she doesn't take them as seriously as the other two. She's always up to play on whatever's available. (Sunset is personally appalled that AJ has yet to upgrade to a decent gaming PC or at least a current gen console. AJ replies she's just fine with what she has, which is pretty much the equivalent of a Nintendo Gamecube.)
She also enjoys fishing, hiking, and camping. While not an avid reader, Applejack does enjoy reading Young Adult novels, but she prefers those with a more comedic bent rather than tortured romance, or the latest wave of dystopian allegory novels.
Other: Applejack is the group's "Mom Friend." She constantly worries about all of them, although she's good at hiding it. In fact, one of the first things she inquired about after the Fall Formal was where Sunset was living. While she doesn't get overbearing, especially when in competition with Rainbow Dash, it's not unusual for one of the girls to receive baked goods, or free cider, or other things to help them feel better when they're down. Applejack, like Pinkie, never forgets a birthday and usually conspires with Pinkie on special birthday celebrations.
She thinks of her friends as "her girls," and will move heaven, earth, and hell itself to keep them safe and happy.
