Okay, now some of you may claim I'm doing this to save face, and perhaps, deep down, that's possibly true, but I want to apologize not just to my good friend SudokuBrony, but to LightningSword as well.
Honestly Lightning, shouldn't have jumped on you like that, that was pure bullying, plain and simple. If you read this, I'll be honest with you, you kinda remind me sorta of myself. What happened with Fame and Misfortune, your reaction sorta reminded me of what could have been. I myself thought of it as an attack on the fanbase, and maybe that's true in some ways with the writers venting some of their frustrations, (Hell if I know, for the record, the original writer hated the script of it but due to various circumstances I'm not sure about, it got submitted anyways. Either he was forced to submit it, or someone else found it, and by rules had to put his name on it.) but I went over the top in my behavior towards both you and the episode.
I screwed the fucking pooch, no need to beat around the bush in saying that.
For that, I'm truly sorry.
Honestly, in our other conversations over Discord, we could have made friends, or at least tolerated each other somewhat. I mean, we both liked and played Bioshock, and I sorta remember recommending it's two sequels to you.
Again, I'm sorry. You can yell and scream at me all you want, send your followers to attack me like a pack of rabid dogs, god knows I deserve it for my behavior on Discord and on here at times.

First of all, I do think its good that you're apologizing. But you don't deserve everyone to start attacking you because one, that's not right, two, you're being mature and apologizing. While I do think Lightning may have stepped out of line a few times, you're apologizing to him. No one should nor needs to attack you for something like that.

Is everything alright? I'm not sure what happened, but I hope it doesn't get worse, for the good of all.
There's already a lot of controversy and drama surrounding that episode so some heated words being exchanged isn't surprising to. So please excuse me if I sound aloof just now, mainly because I wasn't a witness to the exchange. Still, as an outsider, I can only offer these words.
Keep in mind that you have done all you can to repair the damage done by extended your hand in apology and friendship. You have no further obligation and allowing yourself to be verbally assaulted isn't productive. While I understand your guilt drove you to that conclusion, it will only make things worse for both you and Lightning.
Best thing you can do right now is wait and hope Lightning accepts your apology. Not create a potential flame war between both of your respective fanbase.
